It appears that we were causing our own problems by using Free Time (a kid friendly sandbox mode on the Kindle.) After we put both BlockLauncher and MCPE in Free Time, we got them to connect. I'll pass along more news tomorrow as we download the mod and try to install it.
Ok, I got BlockLauncher and MCPE to exist on FreeTime. BlockLauncher notices MCPE now, but I can't figure out how to get the mod files into FreeTime (because apparently it creates a virtual "safe" place when it launches.)
Has anyone loaded a mod into FreeTime on a Kindle?
As I understand it, the steps for installing Pokecube mod on MCPE are as follows:
1. Install Block Launcher.
2. Run Block Launcher to ensure it works on the device ( <-- I'm on this step)
3. Download the mod.
4. Configure Block Launcher to use the Mod.
5. Play.
