But if I am correct, it works as; You cannot remove the sound of a mob (at this point in time with ModPE) However you could probably make the chosen noise, play higher/more frequently then the original sound, so it kind of drowns out the original sound, leaving it with new sound.

I've tried making a Texture Pack with edited sounds, but blocklauncher doesn't change the sounds.
