Why try getting them from marketplace worlds when you could off MCPE mod sites? By the way your post seems your after the mods not the world right? The second half of the post is confusing me hence why I asked with my second sentence.

tl ; dr Add-ons are *encrypted* as part of the Marketplace Map and CAN NOT be separated from the map, currently, by policy. @The_T_Pearson discussed this over Twitter back in October, and you want to follow the conversation discussing this here: https://twitter.com/The_T_Pearson/status/1181325608317374464?s=20
I think the current policy sucks, and I've voiced my opinion about it on Twitter. Again, you really want to be a part of the ongoing conversation *there*, and please be kind and patient particularly with the Devs about it. I believe Pearson actually *agrees* with us, to some extent, but that is just my impression. But if a change is to be made, Pearson has to *sell* the change to his bosses. *DO NOT* annoy Pearson into writing this discussion off, please. But we are talking about this policy, and it would be really good to have you in on that discussion... ON TWITTER.
I hope to see a mods section to the market place soon, because although there are some good free mods out there, we all know they aren't the cream of the crop.
Please do not let your efforts on getting the mods you like be "final". Instead, let this be a springboard towards making your corner of the world a better place!
I have been trying to find a way to take the mods off of a marketplace world to use on other worlds, but I have been unsuccessful in finding a way.
Does anyone know how?
I've tried going into the files, but the world isn't even in the template files!
Thanks

Yes, I am after the mods, but unfortunately there are no good free dinosaur mods. I'll do another check around, but I do like this one quite a bit.
And I did kind of find that second sentence confusing, I dunno why I added it haha.
https://mcpedl.com/t-rex/ by @Pixelheads for download FREE may work for you on any map you wish, while content by the very same group on https://marketplace.minecraft.net/en-us/creator?name=pixelheads will ONLY work on the maps you download from Marketplace.

Thank you, that adds finality to my efforts.
That's about as straight forward as it gets.

Thanks again for all the help
Just keep in mind the story does NOT end here...
You can be a part of the ongoing conversation that creates change, allowing add-ons in Marketplace.
You can support creators like Razzleberry Fox of https://www.minecraftmods.com/decocraft/. She has a Patreon account at https://www.patreon.com/RazzleberryFox. If you don't care for what she's doing, be sure to support those who *do* create things you like.
You can learn to create your own mods. https://www.tynker.com/blog/articles/ideas-and-tips/how-to-create-minecraft-add-ons-in-tynker/ is one such program, and I am sure there are others. This is your opportunity to learn and make mods others may enjoy.
