This mod changes the spawning rates of hostile mobs at night, it also gives some of them buffs that makes survival more challenging.
These buffs include:
- Fire resistance
- Damage resistance
- Damage boost
- More speed
- More health
- Invisibility
There is 4 difficulties and a special extra difficulty. Just type /easy, /normal, /hard, /lunatic or /extra in the command box to select one. If you forget which difficulty are you playing on or want to know how to change it, you can check the guide book (id:738).
On easy:
-There is a 20% chance of more mobs spawning per mob.
On normal:
-There is a 25% chance of more mobs spawning per mob.
On hard:
-There is a 33% chance of more mobs spawning per mob.
-Baby zombies are more likely to spawn. That means all the zombie buffs plus speed.
-Jockeys are more likely to spawn. The buffs can only be on one of them (the spider or the skeleton) but not both.
-Invisible mobs can spawn.
On lunatic:
-Same as hard but there is a 50% chance of more mobs spawning per mob.
-There is a low chance of mobs with more than one buff to spawn.
On extra:
-Any type of mob can spawn.
-There is a 25% chance of more mobs spawning per mob.
-When attacking a spider there is a chance of your character being stuck in webs.
-When attacking a creeper there is a chance for it to explode anyways although that explotion won't hurt you but it will destroy the blocks around you.
-Villagers can turn into zombies if killed by a zombie.
-It is always night.
The screenshots below show the special monsters. The name tags are not present in the mod. However you can spot on these monsters because of the particles. Some names aren't so serious sorry about that :v
