I have tried to add the feature of the damage but I wasn't able to do it, if you can help me with this would be great!
I have just added the sounds, how you can see, in the r002
This is how you do it I am pretty sure:

I am using this mod and two other mods; Muffins Mod and Nametag Saddle Lead mod. Muffins mod adds many foods, and that mods textures always work. Meanwhile the Nametag Saddle Lead Mod works too. But the gravity guns from this mod turn into record discs and the other portal items into other textures, even when I use the texture pack. How do I fix this???
You have to disable these mods (or try to deactivate Internet connection, maybe only this will work)
Technical explanation:
The mods that you said probably overwrite the texture and that's done when you enter the game, so the textures of the portal are overwritten by these mods.
Sometimes the water block does not appear when I jump off a cliff...(it doesn't end well...:D)

I just noticed this bug too, I will work to fix it
I think in these days I will release an update with some improvements:
- more speed when activating the mobs support for portals and jumpers (I have an idea to do this)
- spawn horizontal portals above your head (now you can only spawn horizontal portals on the ground)
- fix the long fall boots bug
- probably damage for portal guns

It was so easy, I was trying to add the damage with the Player.addItemInventory() command but of course it didn't work correctly.
I love the gravity gun.Its just the idea of letting then player change his surroundings that gets me.Wich is why I love playing minecraft and gmod.So when the turret and gravity gun are finished I'll implement it on my map.So Desno when do you think this mod will be 100% done with all the items.I'll be here waiting.Now that I think about it, it sounds weird like I'm constantly refreshing the page like deadpool did or the way pewds checks for views.LOL:P

If you have an android device, just put it inside the android transfer, no significant folder, just drop it in along with all the other folders...
(use android file transfer...)

I like to tell everyone no you don't.Mine isn't and it still works.If you want sounds to work then download a file manager like astro or something then enter the download folder.Unzip the mod cause it has a mod, text, texture pack, and sounds.Move the sounds out of the download folder to the sdcard.Seriously it should be the first thing you go to.Once installed import the mod and have fun.If you want a map to make sure this works try mine.It should already be in the custom map section in the "other".I hoped I helped out a lot and also saved the mod maker the time for replying to these questions.:P

If you do set it up with damage, can you make it so that the blue portal gun will have the durability of a diamond sword?

Just move the "portal-sounds" folder in the main directory of the internal-memory

"Sounds not found" or something like that.Found something else that is quite cool!
1.enable the mob support
2. shoot one of the portals to outside the world (through the invisible bedrock)
3.shoot the other portal at a hostile mob
Result: the hostile mob will enter the portal and die instantly... Sometimes they come flinging back just before they disappear!
It is kind of cool...A lethal weapon....:P

I don't understand the second thing, I fixed that portals can't be placed outside of the world
No, you have to copy the portal-sounds folder in the /sdcard directory of your internal-memory
