Good job on the editor! As Emelio pointed out, it needs a list of items, but is otherwise pretty cool.
Later, you might consider using a library to help you read in the level.dat such as https://github.com/j...tree/master/cpp so that you can modify more parts of the level.dat.
Finally, it seems that you are using Managed C++, so Linux and Mac users might be able to run this with Mono: http://www.mono-project.com/Mono:OSX My Linux box is very old, so when I tested, it crashed, but modern versions might work.
I think i'll try using xcode to compile c++ on the mac, so if this works, mac users will be able to use this program!
Okay, since this project isn't getting much attention, I guess I will just hold off until people reply. UPDATE, you can edit items in now! I worked really hard to allow you guys to edit in pretty much every thing in the game that is coded into 0.6.1. I know that probably people here are all jailbroken and don't need this editor.
because, I am interested in knowing how the format works.
The format is basically a modified NBT format - read documentation on the Desktop edition level.dat from Minecraft Wiki, and Google for NBT specifications.

I used the command g++ in terminal, I had to rewrite it thought
It says "The program can't start because MSVCR100D.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem"
Pls. help how do u fix it?

I don't think you understand the point of this project
This project was made so that ios users could inventory edit without a jailbreak
If I made it an app, IOS users would have to jailbreak
