I'm not looking to sign up on another forum, but this is my choice for icon:
Nice and simple. Most of the others on that page look like they got thrown through random image filters.
Thanks. I really like my own horrible icon (because I made it) that I don't want to exchange it for a better icon yet. I think that I'll wait for version 1.1 to choose one of the icons. In the meantime, you guys can keep giving feedback to the icon choices.
I agree: while changing the colour of the icon gives variety, the basic one looks the best. The text seems a bit off center, though.
Anyways, I'm promoting Beta 6 to Release Candidate status - If all goes well, it would be the version posted to Google Play, hopefully today, with the only change being the addition of an "About" screen.

I hadn't even noticed it had an icon now. That one actually looks pretty good. It's original, simple, and not ugly...I like it.
hey you can make a button To share a map. so Ifo you press there you can chose eg dropbox, google drive or other apps.
because when it's already .zipped it doesn't needs many time to share otherwise you'll have to zip i manually with zarchiver or an other app
Doesn´t work for me. I get everytime a FC on android 4.0, Galaxy SII.
Could you please send me a log of the crash? If you have the Android SDK, run ddms or adb logcat to dump the log, and then copy anything related to net.zhuoweizhang.pocketinveditor. Also, could you please send me your level.dat?
Could you still upload the new versions to this topic. I can't access the Google play store because I'm on kindle fire.
Yes, of course. The beta versions will only be uploaded to the topic; the release versions will be released on Google Play and through direct download. I would encourage downloading via Google Play, though.
I only using aide- android java compiler but ill have a look agen at τнє codeing thanx 500 internal error for this awesome app
To build, you need SpoutNBT 1.0.2 in the libs folder. I'm not sure whether AIDE supports including library .jars. Otherwise, it's a standard Android app and should compile in AIDE.
Oh...not for iOS. Nice job anyway, I don't have an android phone.
No, there's no jailbreak trick to allow iOS to install this app. I'm investigating the possibility of an iOS version. I do not know Objective-C yet, but I hope to learn it soon.

Yes but I can't download from Google play because I'm stuck on amazon.

If there's anyway to make contributions, I'd like to do so. I have some experience with Objective-C and iOS SDK.
Would it be possible to make this app Froyo-compatible?
My old Droid 1 is still running a 2.2.1 ROM like a champ, and can play Minecraft just fine, but the InvEditor will not install. I can't even side-load it. Something about an error parsing the package, on attempted install.
I have another Droid with Gingerbread that I can dust off and use for MC testing if necessary, but the FroyoDroid runs everything so much smoother...
Just a thought. If "legacy support" is too much work, I understand.

I set minSdkVersion to 9 (Gingerbread) as it was the oldest SDK I had installed and because Froyo, I thought, did not support Minecraft PE due to the lack of official NativeActivity support. I will make you a build with no minSdkVersion and see if it runs.

There seems to be a need for an iOS inventory editor. I think you should make one for iOS. I'll try to help as much as I can, but I have no idea on how to use ObjectiveC.

If you just set the minSdkVersion to 8 (FroYo) it'll build fine regardless of the SDK its being linked against. PocketTool is linked against Honeycomb but the minSdkversion is set to 8.
I could do some tests for an iOS inventory editor. I'd have to adapt an NBT library to C++ to use in the iOS SDK. I will look into creating one.

I had also heard that Minecraft only supports Gingerbread & up, but when I bought the app for 10¢ during a promo, all I had was the FroyoDroid, and for that price I didn't care if it worked or not lol. Oddly enough it did.
Anyway, the special InvEditor build works like a charm! If anyone else is still rocking a relic like me (doubtful ), this build will probably work on anything, because 500 is a f'ing BOSS, and he can make anything work!
What is google play?
I do not have an android device, however I am thinking of getting a rooted kindle fire.
Google Play is just the new name for the Android Market. And rooted Kindles rock! Nothing beats getting the best of both worlds...all the Google goodies, as well as all the Amazon goodies.

It will be free; if you want to help, the source is online at https://github.com/zhuowei/PocketInvEditor .

Is there any way to get this installed on a jailbroken IDevice? Sucks that nobody can make any sort of mod for IPhones/IPods :c
I hate Pikachu....

You could try cNBT. It's a NBT library for C, and it has a nice clean endianness conversion function that can easily be replaced for little endian support.
