Make sure you are installing the right one... Or rename it a little and install it again...There are some glitches in the pist... And there is a maximum amount of 13-14-15 then it totally glitches out
Check the directory structure of the zip. If the assets folder isnt at the very root directory of the zip, then PocketTool wont install the texture pack correctly and Minecraft PE will fail to find the new textures. Also, I am aware of the visual glitches that happen on occasion, I'm assuming this is due to an IO error that PocketTool doesnt catch or an IO stream being left open. This will be fixed, but for now, deleting the PocketTool folder on the sdcard will fix the issue.
I actually, REALLY LIKE this thing, i finally was able to simply use this for using my minecraft skin, works perfectly, and i still can get updates without using complicated pc things and all that. thanks for the awesome invention, still need to see about texturepacts, since i dont have any, other than the quandery packs from 1.8
Never mind, I fixed that, but when i install it, it doesn't work
it can be named anything as long as it contains "skin" and ".png" (lower case letters) in the name. Try deleting the folder "/sdcard/PocketTool/temp" and then try installing it. Remember,it still requires Menu->Apply Changes

K, I'll try it, but now I don't need it anymore xD
Root directory of sdcard is the very top folder. On a Windows PC this would be "F:\" F being the letter of your sdcard. On the phone is "/sdcard/". For a zip folder, its the very top folder when you open the zip file on a computer.
after i got pocket tool, it recognized the texture. then when it said to install minecraft and replace the minecraft i had i clicked install but it said application not installed. Help?
Ok I figured it out you have to delete the pocket tool folder in your sdcard and re install the app because the app saved a copy of 2.0 and used that as a templet

If it doesn't work, blame GNU and burn it all!
For great justice!
