Big news! I accomplished a lot! I finally got texturing to work, along with shading (fog)! Now time to just program blocks and their spritesheet textures with them.
So, you all know the famed MCedit, right? I'm working on a 3D world viewer/editor that is similar to MCedit, but with a different twists: you can play the world on your computer as if you were playing it in creative mode in MCPE. Now you might ask, why do I need a world editor? Well, have you ever found a project so large you didn't think you'd be able to build it or wanted to build it fast? Ever want to import 3D models into your world? Ever want to import other peoples creations into your world? Or maybe you just want to play MCPE worlds on your computer. Those are just a few of the features I plan to add to this project.
I have so far done the simple tasks such as getting the 3D down, setting up user controls (camera, walking and flying) and opening the chunks.dat into a 3D world. I need to finish texturing (that really is a hard task) and need to remake every block within MCPE in this program. While programming every block sounds like it'd take awhile, just a matter of copy, paste and edit and should go by quickly.
This whole project is written in Java so its multi-platform and uses OpenGL from LWJGL to render in 3D. LWJGL is what PC Minecraft uses for its 3D needs.

One last thing, I am still working on every project I was doing before hand, just now I have more free time. MCPEServer is now being worked on, and even that new and updated MCPEedit I promised.
Download(this version is still in development, it is not yet a full blown editor but rather a 3D world viewer, working to change that)
you ALWAYS need to say if its for IOS, Android ,MAC or PC!
You need to actually read. It was stated that it was for PC. Even look at previous posts.
..... It is Java. If the application doesn't have any operating system dependent libraries (which it doesn't) it can run on PC, Mac and Linux (and Solaris and whateverOS and hybridunix ...) ... you get the point ^^

So you said that only because I said it was for PC and was not being specific? Lul, Fine "It can run on any computer"

Photobucket has the worst bandwidth.
I abandoned it, but released the source-code if people wanted to add onto it or make their own.
MCPE defeats the purpose of a 3D MCPE world editor for mobile devices in the first place...
Also, why do people bump my old threads long after I "leave" Minecraft?

You totally should come back! I've been looking for a simple way to create superflat worlds and terraforming without having to do it all in game by hand.

Aren't there programs and apps out there that do that for you? I guess I could update MCPEGenerator to include flatmap generation and ability to define custom layers like MCPC's flatmap generator does...

Jocopa When i run on my PC it flashes and goes away! I have java and it is all extracted. Please Help!
You probably have a graphics card that doesn't support OpenGL 2.2. I plan to remove dependence on OpenGL 2.2 and downgrade to OpenGL 1.4, because you can't upgrade OpenGL on your GPU.

There's your answer.

If you had actually read through the previous posts, you would find out that this project was abandoned after Jocopa decided to "leave".
