But I have a question: Can you put in infinite resources?
Or change the map's name?
Another question: I opened a level.dat that I had just created (I just loaded the world and then quit). I go to edit the inventory, but it only has slots 0-2! Is this a bug?

That's normal, as inventory slots aren't created until they're needed. Ýou only have 3 slots because you only have shears, bricks, and glass in a fresh world. If I were you, I'd dig up 1 dirt, 1 sand, shear 1 leaf, get 1 of each kind of log, etc. Then InvEdit them into things you want. Rinse and repeat.
As for infinite items, the short answer is no. The only infinite items are the 3 listed above, and iron/gold/diamond blocks. Everything else is finite.
I think you guys will like the next update. It'll include spawn location, seed, score, rotation, motion, position and time info and editor. It will also include...an Entity editor! The entity editor won't be as advanced as the player editor, but it will include a button to kill all mobs, kill all dangerous mobs and will give you stats on how many of each mob there is in your map (not very useful, but people could use it somehow).
This update will also be a partial graphical update...It won't be my full fledged planned GUI that mimics MCPE's inventory look-and-feel, but it will be the first update to include icons (except for items...too many icons create larger downloads and more work than I can handle per update).
I'm thinking about adding SSH options, the ability to SSH into your Android or iOS device, choose a file, hack it and save it. If you don't know, SSH means Secure Shell which is a network protocol. It allows remote access to computers and devices with servers running (iOS:OpenSSH (jailbroken only) | Android:SSHDroid) and lets users explore their file-systems and modify files. This means you can do everything to your device from your computer, making it easier for people to get rid of the need to copy your level.dat/entity.dat from the device, edit it, and put it back on. For those that don't have SSH available on their device, you can still use any old conventional methods to copy your files to your computer and edit them like before.
In the future (about the same time as the graphical update), I will be adding an MCPE iOS patcher and iOS mod support, but it will be an advanced option since modding isn't fully developed or understood on iOS (I am also working on that).
So this summer, expect the best from MCPEedit! A new revolution of Minecraft will be unfolded and create a new era of Minecraft explorers and hackers alike (finally)!
The new interface will include tabs for different parts you can edit.

Level tab:
The icons were done by me so I don't have to deal with legal complaints.
Player tab:
You can drag your mouse across the hearts to change your health. Drag far to the right and you get infinite health. The infinite heart symbols look like the icon for Polyamory activist...but I swear to you that wasn't my intent.
awesome tool!! its only going to get 10x better now! cant wait for update! if you can you should add an infinite option for items as someone mentioned and also infinite HP, that would be awesome!
1. How will you spawn location? You can't really view it. Unless you are using the chunks.dat to view the map so you can see exact block etc.
2. Instead of implementing an SSH options, you could use USB options, like what iExplorer / iFun-Box does.

1. Spawn Location won't be editable
2. USB = To complicated. I'd have to do it through iTunes or Bitpim.

Wasn't version 0.3d supposed to be released today?
Yup. I have an explanation. One, things don't go as smoothly as thought (I never got a single due date on time with this project), and two, a friend of mine wanted me to make a program for him (friends before internet strangers ). I do promise it before late Sunday afternoon for sure...otherwise I just don't know when it will appear.

Ok I agree with you on the "friends before strangers" im still looking forward to the update! Also if it's possible you should add an option to give you infinite (or close to infinite) hp and maybe flying in survival worlds. Infinite blocks (amount editor) would also be great!

I finished my friends program, which was a program that traced pictures and redrew the outlines in the picture in any drawing program. Working on the new update now, and I was working on infinite health before you asked.
Expect it soon!

Sweet!! I hope it's in the next update! Still can't wait for it to be released!

Just because I have the GUI done doesn't mean I have the coding finished and working. I will get it release by Friday most likely.

No. What you could do is create a new world in survival, edit that inventory, and put it in the folder of the world you want to have TNT.
Nope.

How do you even access the level.dat?
I don't know?
Please help!
(I have a non-jailbroken iPod Touch, I will never jailbreak mine)
