Sorry but there may be some differences to the screen shots versus the actual release...Ran into some annoying problems that may affect the whole new look. I'm trying my hardest to fix it, but so far it only runs with the sourced version and not compiled version.
What problems are there? Are there any exceptions printed out?

Oh no, it compiles fine, exception and so far, error free. It's just when I tried opening JDialogs the way I was taught, the Slot Box wouldn't turn up, but the same method I used for the Slot box worked for the About box. I came up with a fair solution and I think this new version is much better than it was going to be. I'm releasing it now in fact.

Will it work for creative mode?I want cobblestone stairs on creative mode.
You have to make your world in Survival first. Creative mode doesn't make room in the level.dat for inventories, so you can't edit the inventory in creative (since creative just uses approved blocks). I would recommend you try making a world in Survival then switching to creative (since the inventory isn't erased when switching) and going back to survival when needed. I will make an iOS app to making it simpler than it is currently.

Might I suggest making the drop-down menus a bit wider, so they don't clip parts of block/item names.
Also, what's the circle in the bottom-right of the window for?
Here a Mac screenshot, if you want to add it to the OP.

Thanks! I will fix that in my next release! Also, the ring at the bottom is the progress bar. It doesn't do much for now since the program works to quickly to use it, but it will be effective when I start extending the program to generate flat maps (overwrites an existing map), since it takes awhile to process chunks.dat.
I'm glad to see it works in Windows, Linux and Mac properly (although it should anyway). I have a hard time with making the GUI attractive on all OS's though. The problem with the drop-down menu for you is that Mac uses different fonts plus it appears to me from your screenshot that Mac also automatically resized the boxes for some reason. On Windows the boxes and buttons are longer than the slot box is...I'll look into what's going on with that.
Any other errors you find or suggestions you have, just report them to me and I'll fix them/add them each release as best I can.
Looks like not a waste of time to use this!I'll download it right away!
This will help me switch levels instantly!(Opening world folders and copying and pasting them is like hell for me)
This will be usefull for everyone wanting to change Game Types instantly!!!!!!
When I try to set block/item, I get an error message saying: "You need to open a file". So I opened my level.dat with "Hex Fiend" and then I try it, and I get the same thing. Help?

Was the file made in Creative when you first started? Have you tried closing MCPEedit and re-opening it with the file? Does the file look/work fine in your hex editor? Does it happen with only that file? Upload the file or e-mail to me (PM me first for my e-mail).

Wasn't made in creative. What do you mean opening it with the file? Yes it looks normal. Nope. I will after I try the others.

You're right about the font. Looking at the two screenshots side by side, the Mac JRE really screwed up the layout by using the bigger font. The window is resizable, but the buttons & drop-menus are locked to the right side, and don't get bigger.
Looking forward to new versions. This app is off to a great start!

Well, easier than version 3a.

Try going to File -> Open in the app?

I like to help make things easier. I will update it to v0.3d on Thursday.
Sorry, but any help would be fine...
Awesome program!
You are beast. No doubt.
Wait- when I'm done editing the level.dat, its not in the world folder, so the world doesn't work! Bug?
Where ever you saved MCPEedit to your computer is where the level.dat is. I'm planning to fix that in the future.
