I made this kit to help people get started in modding it will NOT tell you all the details on modding but will give you an idea how and make the process easier.
First off i suggest getting notepad++ its free and the link is in the useful links file in the zip.
Here is what is included:
README - This is the tutorial and usage instructions Read It !!! Open it in Notepad++
ModKit Script - This is the menu system
Useful Links - Links to help you along the way. Including my repo.
Tools - adb w/dll's and objdump used for communicating with your device and dumping the lib file.
Mod Template - A .mod file for you to edit with your own codes.
With the ModKit you can pull your lib from your device, dump the lib to a text file, and push mods to your device.
I use invincibility in the readme as an example but it will take some learning on your part to make your own mods. The useful links file has some learning resources for arm assembly. There are other applications for assembling and disassembling files such as IDA which may be easier for you. I prefer looking at it in Notepad++.
This kit can also be used to just push mods to your device for use in pockettool, just put your mods in the mods folder, open ModKit.bat and choose option 3.
Everything is explained in the readme, So again Read It....
Hopefully this will get some more people modding the game.
Post ideas or comments and please Upvote if you like it.

I do want to point out that Snowbound has an automated tool to generate PTPatches from a modified libminecraftpe.so: https://github.com/joshhuelsman/PTPatchTools/downloads
Also, Jocopa has made a PTPatch generator for iOS devices that takes offsets and bytes, but it should also work for Android: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1372685-ios-mod-making-program/
