no way this is the most realistic city, maybe 2nd behind mine, don't think i'm trying to be cocky, mean, compete, or copy you, its just that mine is basically a mini version of GTA V.
You do know the GTA V city is not only geographically impossible and is really unrealistic as a city itself. It's a unlikable city to live in if it were real. Building something that seems real doesn't mean it's more realistic. I've taken direct inspiration from the real world, Toronto, and have actually built the roads at a US Interstate grade worthy state.
I've started work on a second map. Condos so far, going to contain a waterfront. Pic's coming tomorrow, it's going to be connected to the first map with MCedit once infinite worlds come out!
no joke that was the same thing i was doing, i was trying to keep it a secret because i thought i was the only one doing that, but whatever. This is what i have been doing, i got get a superflat, (make sure its deep enough) world and, having the first world done, connect it in the pc version of minecraft, after you've connected it, you can build the rest on pe. Sorry if that was confusing.
I've decided to move the cities financial district further away from the waterfront and instead put several condo developments near the waterfront. A elevated expressway will straddle the area from the waterfront, which will be 200 blocks away from the expressway. The waterfront will contain parkland, beaches, and condos.
Some pics of the expressway:
The underside is ghetto ish.
The roadway. Three lanes each side, notice the high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane
The waterfront will be 200 blocks away from the expressway.
