Amazing city, and the metro system is the best part!
If You could add anything that would be more resturants *-*
Noted: I'll try to implement as many restaurants as I can that fit that specific area!
Speaking of specific areas, the city of Mine York finally got to redoing the majority of Nether Island! It has now been expanded, buildings and roads redone, and interiors being made! However, beware - Nether District is still the same crime ridden neighborhood it once was. Lights go off at night and the criminals come out. Pictures out soon, it is currently under construction!

This new picture shows the new skyline of Nether Island, which has been completely changed to more accurately represent the Bronx. However beware, although the island looks much better than it did, crime and poverty still run rampant here, and it is still the poorest location in the entire city. Still though, a great place to go!
Also, what would you guys like with a Christmas update? I would really like to know. Thanks a lot!

The new and revised Nether Island & Nether District
Finished CTY-City (housing projects on the far side of the island, close to the Nether-Blockstone Bridge)
Another new subway station
Some tracks are automated and redstone powered now
Some Christmas decorations scattered around
New interiors
A new skyscraper located in Minehatten
Expect a release on December 23rd or 24th, a Christmas gift from me to you
Next update (Q1 2016):
Overhaul of the now aging subway system, so changing the decor around, modernizing the stations, expanding the tunnels, and basing the system on redstone.
Completion of Ender Island's suburban houses
Completion of some highways scattered around the NRM
Expansion of the railway system around the NRM
More suburbs and completion of Newport's suburbs
Expansion of Minecago
Major expansion of Los Bloques
Maybe even more! We'll see what's in store next!
MYC itself is very close to being what may be considered "done". This means that the expansion of the world is coming soon! I'm very excited!
When that day comes, the name of the map/thread will change from Mine York City to the National Republic of Minecraft, or NRM.

I think I will postpone the release of the update for two main reasons:
1. I can finish more in the next projected release date than what I will release, and
2. Block lag. It is REALLY bad now and it will take a while to build new projects, especially in Minehattan. I can't believe how bad it really is, and I know it isn't my phone, it's MCPE. Hopefully the developers fix that soon!

John could you give us images of what new things have you done in the city.
Sure! Although most of what I have changed/created has been infrastructure since it is beginning to age.
First off, Joepass Bridge has been completely redone to be taller, larger and enable boats to go underneath. Also, Highway 2 has been rerouted so that it directly connects to the bridge.
Tbe subway running under the bridge was moved to under the water, for more space. Underneath the highway are entrance ramps and a new thruway.
Also, a new expressway has been built in Ender Island, branching off of the Fence Gate Bridge.
The Fence Gate Bridge (connecting Ender Island to Lapis Island) is currently being redone, and so is the Minehattan Bridge.
Also worth noting is that two new subway stations were added (one in Nether Island and one in Ender Island), and you are now able to access Three Craft Amusement Park via the MINECART system (and the large station in Notch City). This brings the current number of subway stations to 21, which makes it the most extensive subway system in a pocket edition world.

First, the Minehattan Bridge and the Fence Gate Bridge have both been redone so infrastructure is much better than before.
The three skyscrapers in Minecago are complete, and roads have been altered slightly from the roads in MYC.
Lastly, this is the new subway plan, or at least until I get some feedback. Tell me what you think! If it fairs well, every other station will be changed to look like this. It will be a ton of work, but it is worth it! (I'll light the stations up a bit more, I promise)!

First off, here's an updated picture of what the new subway stations will look like, tell me what you think.
Next, Notch City has seen a skyscraper boom.
Most city streets in Notch City have been completed, and the CBD is almost completely done. Notch City is growing fast, and has been filling up with many different sights to see (for example, the first Redstone museum in the entire NRM).
Not pictured (because of it's slow development) is a new highway being built stemming from Highway 10 to provide access to Notch City directly from MYC (as for now, the only way to access NC is by traveling to Blocker and crossing Tommaso Bridge and the Fence Gate Bridge (which has been renamed the RFR Bridge as a whole)).
Work is still going on, but I think that Notch City may be completed by the next update!

As a fan (and builder) of city maps, this looks very cool. How many buildings does it have, and what is its surface area? Thanks
Mine York City has approximately 65 - 70 skyscrapers, Notch City will have 15 - 25 skyscrapers, and Minecago will most likely have 45 - 55 skyscrapers. As for surface area, I have no clue what the actual numbers are, although I will say that MYC probably has a surface area of around 350×450 blocks and from MYC to Minecago is approximately a single mile.

Right. I have a city called New Chicago that has: 135 skyscrapers, 542 lofts/low office buildings, 1509 ghetto/public housing structures, and 8561 suburban houses. Approx. size: 2400 x 1300 blocks. Click the bottom link in my signature for a tour of parts of it.
Thanks! Just want to know

Have you done any new building? (Apart of Minecago) I want to see!
Working on a brand new Proyect!
Not in Minehattan, at least. I am planning to raze/destroy some buildings for new projects, however, so stay tuned!
Yes! No more lag in 0.14.0! So happy that progress can be faster now!

Does anybody know how I can download the map for iPad and/or Kindle Fire? Thanks!
