I suggest finding a tablet with at a 2 core processor at least (but 4 cores will run it better). Those cores have to support floating point operations. I think they're the ARM-v7a type CPUs... I forget. Oh, and the more RAM the better (I'm not sure what the minimum requirements are).

Dual core will work, but you can expect chunk loading problems when in multiplayer (I have a BLU Dash Music 4 which is dual core but can run single player Minecraft very well, but has problems when running while connected to another player's Minecraft game). This is why I recommend something with four cores.

Well, the tablet I'm using at the moment is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook (7 inch). It's got a quad core in it and 4.4 kitkat. And it runs Minecraft PE quite well.
I am curious. I have looked all over with no success to find at least a list of tablets that can run MCPE. I found one
wiki page but it is extremely out of date. The last time it was updated was 0.2.0 back on March 14th of whatever year.
Is there any way I can find out if a tablet can run the newest version of PE without buying a tablet just to get the average
"world cannot be opened" text? Which basically just saying it is not compatable.

Y'know? I bought Minecraft because I thought it was a war game where you had to create tactically placed proximity explosive devices...
yeah. I know that ARM-v6 can't run 0.2.0 or above as well. How can I tell if a tablet supports floating point operations? is it usually
in the description or the name via an abbreviation?

I am currently looking at a coby kyros tablet that has 1gb RAM and 4gb flash memory and near as I can tell it says it uses
floating point operations and I think its a duel core but not sure. Any clue if this one would work?

If I wanted a smartphone thatd be pretty good. Decent price too. Wonder why it is so hard to find a tablet that can run minecraft.
I've looked all over and no one seems to know what types of tablets can run it. Even when there is an educated guess it tends
to be for versions much older than the current version. I am starting to think that minecraft pe is only reserved for those with
phones and I have no interest in getting another phone, smart or otherwise. Just need a good tablet that can do the basics
and play a bit of minecraft is all. My guess is that I am just going to go with a google android quad core 4.4 kitkat that has
1gb RAM and 16gb Memory. If it turns out I can play minecraft on it I will be back with a full review. Maybe begin establishing
which tablets work and which don't.
Also, I'm not trying to seem angry so please don't take offense.

Ok cool. That will be documented when I set up my next topic. I really hope to inspire people to get a list of tablets that
will run all the way up to 0.13.0 (if I remember correctly) and beyond.
I will check out that tablet as well and see what I can find. Right now I have my eyes on a Irulu google android kitkat 4.4.
So I hope to get a review in by late next week.
