With the "Nether Machine" being added in a future update, it got me thinking that MCPE could be something different than other versions of minecraft. MCPE could get its own exclusive content like new biomes, foods and tools. Or maybe it's own dimension? Minecraft on PC got the way it is because notch wanted to put in what he wanted to play then jeb did the same thing. Along with some took considerations from the community. And what if Aron or Johan wanted to do the same thing? MCPE could become its own thing. I like minecraft on PC, but I want to keep it on PC. Pocket Edition should be different from that. And I know that some people will think the opposite and that's all right, it their opinion.
I think it'd be great if MCPE were different from Xbox and PC, we may not even get everything PC has, bu that's okay as long as we have things they don't!
Already has, he's adding some sort of nether machine
Obviously you didn't read the thread and you are just a post *****...
OT: I think going in a separate direction would be a good idea so it can adapt to mobile devices' specs. It is tough to implement the majority of PC Minecraft into PE because of resource costs and performance issues. I would also like to see a whole new list of items/content to keep my interest in Minecraft strong in the next few months/years.
I think it would be amazing if MCPE took it's own direction. Since a lot of the pc stuff will take up too much memory on your phone, I would like it if they had more MCPE exclusive features. Yes for me!
It should go it's separate way, that way the updates will be that much worthwhile. I hate having to wait for an update that my PC version already has. I want something new. One thing I really want though are achievements.
I think it should stick to the same path as the PC/XB versions and here's why. The PC and XB versions are super sellers, they have sold like hotcakes. The PC version sells like crazy because it's so frign fun and has tons of stuff. The XB version sells because it's everything(or will be) the PC version is and it sells like hotcakes not to mention who doesn't want MC on a 60+" screen. Plus the XB version is great because those that don't have PC's good enough to play MC can order up the same fun and excitement on the XB version.
Now we come to MCPE, not selling to great, but not bad. Lots of people love it, but it seems so far behind the PC and XB versions that it offers no real value in comparison. Now if you start throwing crap in there that is not in the PC and XB versions and stop adding stuff that is in the PC and XB version for one reason or another people aren't going to want it. They wont want it because it will seem like it can't be like the PC version and will never be like it. I love the PC version, play it a lot, but the whole idea of the PE version going it's own direction makes me feel as if I'll never have the PC fun in my pocket, the things I love in the PC version wont go with me. This is a major fail in my opinion. And if the hardware of the phones is what is holding them back then drop the older phone support and run with the newer stuff because a 4 year old PC can struggle with MC and they obviously don't care, so why care in the PE market.....
Keep PE on the PC/XB track. Running with it's own thing will kill the fun that I expect from the same named game on the PC.
I want MCPE to add as many PC things as possible, then when it comes to things guranteed not to work dued to peformance issues, I want an alternative, or replacement. If that can't be done, let the MCPE devs be creative and create brand new things exclusive to MCPE that will bring tons of fun

Famous Nyan seed has caves now along with 3 other special maps for MCPE! Check here for downloads: http://tinyurl.com/c75ax6y
I think MCPE should have it's own features, but the devs shouldn't go crazy overboard and make it a completely different game. If anything, the end product should be very similar to the desktop version.

Thats true, cause I like minecraft, but when I get bored of it, I don't want to be bored of all the versions. PE could get the same familiar feel to all the other versions but each one could have something different.
MCPE can go it own directions but they should add redstone or something ...
