What do you guys use as an underwater light source? What's the best way you guys do it? I really want to know so I can start building an underwater city easily, thanks in advance
Glowstone, Or Jack-o-lantern.
Torches will just break
Sorry! I thought this was the PC Version, Not The Pocket Edition, Sorry again. (I saw it on the front page)
Sorry if youre being truthfull. (I highly doubt it.)
But I smell a troll!
Lol you're really hating on every comment I make just cause I said one bad thing about your topic? May I say sir you are very mature. And I found my own way, I just use a line of fences to transfer the light to the bottom and gives me a breathing space
My Suggestion is to use Glass and Torches at the Same time as Glass can absord the Lighting from the Water and Torches can bright up your Area too to forbidden any Darkness conquering. This

The way I get light is by making a 3 by 3 cube then putting a torch in the middle.
I just tried that method ,but It sadly doesn't work anymore , but by bringing glass up to the surface of the water in a 4 by 4 cube method connected to the floor of the ocean will bring light in ,but this method will only work in the day sadly. Unless you put torches on top of the glass at the surface.

You can't put torches on glass sadly so it will only work durring the day.
There is an easier solution; Line the entire floor of the water you want to have ight in using glowstone. The problem is getting glowstone. You have to go to the netherworld in survival mode to get glow dust.
I know this was 8 years ago. But if you are using creative mode; use the sea lantern. It looks good if you use it as the bottom or just to line your city. I used it like a checkerboard along the side walls of my city.

It's kinda odd but there's a glitch.
