You've been saying that all I'm asking is for the game to be easier, which I'm not. You're honestly the one who was being rude first. I was simply stating my opinion on the luck factor in Minecraft, and tried to see who agreed. Then, you came along and started talking trash.
The fact also remains that a 100% common item drop chance can still also have same drop as common items do now. For example, skeletons, on average, drop one arrow and one bone. The sometime drop 2, and sometime none, but on average it's one. If every skeleton dropped one bone and one arrow, everybody would still have the same amount of average bones and arrows per skeleton kill.

I wasn't meaning to be rude, but then again, an opinion that doesn't agree is often construed as rude.

So your asking for a change that would effect nothing? correct?
"everybody would still have the same amount of average bones per skeleton kill."
Read that to yourself.
Not bones your worried about though, it is rarer resources like ender pearls, redstone and whither skulls. Rarer
Rarer.
100% drop of rare drops = not rare, common drop.
If everything was common, it would EASIER to collect these items.
Title of topic is Too luck based, what you proposed (in regards to mob drops) was the complete removal of luck, drop chance. Which.....would ....make....the...game......easier.

Do you now understand why I don't agree?
Your disagreement isn't the problem. There's an option on the poll that says "No 0%" for anybody who wants to choose that (which I'm pretty sure you already did). I used the skeleton example, because it is the easiest example for me to explain. In the current version of Minecraft, if a player kills a skeleton, they get 0, 1 or 2 bones and arrows. Let's say a player is looking to get 10 arrows, a lucky one only has to kill 5 skeletons, average players kill 10, and unlucky players kill 15+. All players would have to kill 10 skeletons to get 10 bones and arrows. It is true that my suggestions would make the game easier for unlucky players, but it would make it harder for lucky ones, and make the game's difficulty more consistent. The topic isn't about difficulty, but if there was a thread about the low difficulty in this game, I would definitely propose an extra difficulty level. This thread however, is about luck, so I didn't mention much about difficulty.
If you'd like to disagree, explain why you disagree, and/or ask me to explain my ideas further for whatever reason, that's fine. Just please, don't say anything like "git gud" or that all I want is for the game to be easier, because that can be taken as rude and even as an insult to some degree, even if you didn't mean it. If this argument was the result of a misunderstanding, then we can leave it as that and move on.
Ya know you can do things the hard way and use mob spawners or you can just makeor a variant of it and be perfectly fine. Iron Golem farm, food farm and there is almost nothing you need to worry about. If you need exp make an enderman farm takes maybe half an hour to build and you can pretty much enchant all day. If PvP is to easy for you then your maps suck. My PvP map is large includes mob spawners and redstone traps the fun part was setting the traps on a changing variable so not all of them are always working the system will change randomly what traps are active. I just play with a couple close friends and our PvP zone took us less than a week to finish. Use Redstone. Get creative. Stop blaming the makers of the game because you have issues with things. You act like they should turn this into runescape. The point of minecraft is for you to get creative. If you honestly spend more than 3 days (by yourself) setting up your grinders then you should find better grinders. (this excludes the iron golem farm and the zombie pigman farm those can take time to gather what you need for enderman get max efficiency pick for iron golem there is a rather easy breeder that works amazing) If you are established enough to have a beacon with regen make a silverfish spawn trap for afk exp. There are hundreds of ways to make all the grinding passive. it doesnt take much at all to do it either.
