I have Minecraft on disc and just yesterday downloaded from the PS Store because I left my disc at home. (I travel a lot) when it was done downloading it updated to 1.12 so I opened it and none of my worlds are In the game. I still have them on my saved data on my PS3 but can't figure out how to get them in game. Can some one please HELP.

maybe create a new save/world, hopefully it will update your save cache allowing game to see nolder saves....thats a wild guess. I do know mcps3 saves dont lock to user or console Id
Thank you will try that And do you mean they don't save to user? Are you saying they will only work if I put the disc in. That would suck.
I mean if I sent you one of my saves it would work on yours, or vice versa. Some games lock saves to your profile meaning you can't even copy them across users on your own ps3
The disk version will only work with the disk in.
You don't need your disk for the download version to work.
To me is sounds like the problem is you have 2 different MC's on the same machine, with 2 different sets of the same folders. Your dilemma is your world is in the wrong folder. It needs to be moved or copied to correct folder of the download version (where the other worlds are). Then, as long as you're using the same profile, your world should show up.
Actually, at that point, you can delete the disk version MC- you don't need it anymore and it will just confuse things.
I deleted my old disc version and still the same thing can't move files to different folder there's no option for that in the menu. Guess I'm stuck using my disc
You might need to go to the PS menu to do it- there may not be an "in game" menu to copy a world file (or in this case, "move" it somewhere else). You may even need to copy your world file to a USB, then copy that to the correct folder.
I think that would work.
Then again, the disk version is a different animal, so you really may be stuck playing your old world in the disk version.
