Fission Warfare is a mod that adds custom missile crafting and launching into the game. It works off of Thermal expansion and rf energy.
The goal of Fission Warfare is to add late game warfare components, such as concrete and missiles to destroy bases. You can now make your own custom missile, with its own accuracy, speed, distance, and payload. With Fission Warfare you become death, destroyer of worlds.
Ever since the decline of ICBM we've wanted to add warfare and missiles back into Minecraft. We learned a lot from out last mod Fusion Warfare, which was based around machines and energy. Fission Warfare completely uses Thermal expansion's energy and resources to function. This results in a cleaner, modpack friendly mod.

Sweet! I've missed ICBM so seeing this is awesome, will there be any integration with your other mod?
We currently don't have plans for any direct integration with Fusion. Instead we hope to build upon Fission and make it the best warfare mod.
As always thanks for the feedback Xakorik, love hearing from ya!
I love the mod and use it in my pack, Voltz Recharged. Would love to see some connected textures for the glass to make things more aesthetically pleasing for larger areas covered in glass.

Great Work!
Thanks for putting our mod in your modpack, glad you love it!! Adding connected textures for glass is definitely something we will look into adding.
When oh when will mods like thermal expansion and Fission be available for 1.10.2?!?!? I'm dying over here
I know how you feel. Even updating to 1.9 would be amazing. Sadly we have to wait on Thermal Expansion to update and I believe they're are currently rewriting their whole mod.
Looks good! Just a question, is this compatible with Fusion Warfare?
While I believe it is possible to install both mods (Haven't tested it), Fission Warfare is supposed to be a re-imagining of Fusion and will not have any planned compatibility.
We usually work in the summer break on development, because school can get pretty tough to handle with coding. I just looked and CoFH and Thermal Expansion are still not even updated to 1.8, meaning we couldn't if we wanted to. That being said we would like to branch off from Minecraft and start focusing on standalone game development for our free time. I really doubt if the required mods updated that we would continue work on this mod.

From what I've heard, COFH mods will take very very long to update if not never since their mod devs aren't interested, at least in the meantime. Now since you have a busy schedule (Uni and stuff), that is understandable and no one has the right to pressure you on release dates or anything. As for suggestions (you might have already considered this, not sure), you 'could' branch off Minecraft as you said, orrr (this is my humble suggestion :3) you could use another energy system from Mekanism, EnderIO, etc as those mods have updated and are widely used in modpacks. I'm not sure how easy/possible that is to do, but yeah. Many mods that have already updated used those for their energy systems instead.
Awesome, wondered where Fusion Warfare was, here it was right here but greater!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

Fission Warfare v1.0.1 is here!
This little update fixes major bugs and makes the atomic explode WAY faster! It also adds a turret to shoot down missiles!

Because I don't have anything better to put here:
Interesting mod, downloading.
AcademyCraft, RPG Races Mod, Mythicraft, Ben 10 Mod, Minecraft: Omnihero
this looks really awesome, I might feature this on my minecraft mods weekly.
How do you charge the Launch pad?

Thanks, hope you fave fun destroying your worlds....or you friends, I'm not here to judge.
Thanks, any videos are always amazing to see.
Any RF output should work placed under the Launch Pad. An easy solution is placing an Energy Cell there and having the the top side orange (output).
