Mob Mash is a Minecraft mod that adds several sophisticated and advanced new mobs, both hostile and passive, to your world. Each mob added carries a special AI to make them unique, challenging, and most important of all, fitting. Marvel in wonder as you encounter each wondrous entity found in our perpetually growing list of features.
Our Perpetually Growing List of Features:
The Mothman is a dark and scary type of mob. He only spawns at night and is attracted to lights, but don't think less of him for that. When ready to fight, the mothman charges at you at double speed and tries to swipe at your eyes and blind you, so make sure to hit at their feet or turn around when they're about to hit you.
The Chupacabra not so much like the canine creature in American folklore but close enough, the Chupacabra only attacks animals when unprovoked. His special attack is a "leech hit" where for each heart he takes from his foes, he gains. Wear armor and use a shield when fighting against these guys, the less health they can steal the easier they are to fight off.
The Crocoduck was borrowed from an older mod I created. He doesn't quack or hiss, he hacks, and he attacks anything he can fit in his mouth. They lay eggs which can be used to hatch a baby Crocoduck, which can be tamed with raw meat and used to hunt animals, but watch out, they won't stop until your ground is littered in raw meat and other animal drops.
The Meme was inspired by the character "Pink Guy" from Filthy Frank. The meme does nothing on its own but scream loudly and run around violently, unless it is left alone to its own kind, where it very quickly learns how to behave like the mobs around it. This includes them eating grass when around sheep, being tamed the same way as wolves are in the presence of wolves, or raid farms with rabbits.
The Slagmite was borrowed from another mod I made called KAGIC, the slagmite is like a silverfish but it doesn't hide in blocks and flees light wherever it may find it. Its signature move is the ability to fuse, or combine into one gigantic slagmite, with the combined health and damage of its consisting slagmites. Slagmites also have a Nether variant that sets fire to its opponents. When large enough, they bear a gray boss bar.
The Sandworm is barely visible as it waits slowly for its prey to wander near. Found only in deserts, the sandworm waits on the hot desert sand for something to walk by and attempt to fit its tiny jaws around. It's ability to create sinkholes make it a sinister foe, but it is quick to subdue with a measly four hearts of health.
The Pirate is a treacherous, maritime mob that relentlessly tries to steal your booty (there are no girl pirates, so that be taken either way.) Pirates are capable of picking up items and placing them into an internal inventory, and when killed, their drops are placed in a chest that automatically sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Have fun treasure hunting!
The Nomad is a friendly desert mob who travel with their family, making a profit off of far off travelers. Nomads only take gold, they accept nothing else, making them extremely important when you're hungry and have some gold to spare. They suffer the wrath of Husks, Spiders, and Sandworms, but they have their own tips and tricks to handle these baddies.

What are Metrics?
In the configs there is a setting to exchange metrics. All these metrics are are your Minecraft version, mod version, and if you're running this on a client or server. It is helpful for me to figure out how my mod is being used. You may turn it off but I'd prefer you don't.
All my links are around here somewhere, you can help by either pledging me on Patreon, donating to my PayPal, joining the Discord, or even downloading my mods. I run another decently sized mod called KAGIC, which is a Steven Universe themed mod with enough tech influence for just about anyone to understand and play it. Overall, I present a lot of options, and I don't ask for much.
EDIT: Never mind i went to the curse link and seen. Any plans to make models for the mobs? like the mothman? You can only go so far with the steve model...

I don't see anything wrong with the mothman model, it's skin provides camouflage against wooden surfaces and the girth of the human model makes it blend in perfectly with one block thick hideouts and walk through doors. If anything needs a reworking it'd be the Chupacabra, and as far as the Crocoducks go, I wouldn't mind making their jaws separate.
I will definitely be taking your screenshot request into consideration and adding it in.

it's more of a wings problem i suppose. The Mothman is usually known for having large or at least noticeable wings.
Really my only problem, it's honestly more of a nitpick at this point but meh.
Actually, The Mothman with "Eye wings" like many types of moth is a great idea! i can't think of ever seeing a depiction of the mothman with those types of wings!
This mod is really cool and oh my the crocoduck im in love
What about adding worms that will jump into apples on the ground or in your inventory and make you sick if you eat them
I like the idea, but to make a poisoned apple you'd have to make a new item, and it is pretty easy to tell if it was poisoned.
I do like the idea of something that changes your inventory though.

Tried creating a music video for Mob Mash to showcase a new feature added to Memes, but I can't seem to get the music to work on any video editor (tried 3, so I'm ditching the effort.)
What about a three-headed llama? with a 3x increased chance of dropping a llama head, and also it has 3 lives meaning so it loses a head each time it dies. The catch is the heads don't come back naturally, you have to use a potion of instant health 2 for each head. Also they rarely spawn naturally, but if two llamas with a lot of health are bred there is an increased chance of spawning a two-headed or three-headed llama. Another cool feature could also be that they have increased chest storage, each head adding an additional row.
Okay lets make a list so its clearer...
Three-headed llama:
Heads are extra lives
Heads grow back with instant health 2 potion
3x increased chance of dropping skull
Low natural spawn rates
Increased chance with breading
Extra chest storage?
Also, what if you can put the elytra on them so they get wings and can fly!

I will be eagerly watching this mod. The idea of a collection of mobs is awesome to do, especially with the variety it has at the moment.
Thanks man, I've already got ideas for a second update like an aerial mob, a couple new ocean mobs, and perhaps even something special for the nether.
I like the idea. But memes currently spawn way too much and they are irritating as hell. Had to disable them. Had over 50 of them around spawn.
Other than that I like it.
Makes sense, they tend to spawn a ton in the more empty biomes, so I'll remove them from those and I'll lower their spawn rate in the next update.
Any screenshots? :l

Mob Mash v1.1 has been released with the following additions:

Oh, okay. That makes sense. If I ever added wings, they'd be mostly for show, I already know how they'd be used.

There is a Mob Mash Q/A.

the sandworms in many mods are very scary. but in this mod, they are sooooo cute!
--They won't die...They will return...muhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu......--
Maybe I'll make them tameable?
I finally fixed the audio issues on the Mob Mash video I made!
Oh, yeah that could be a problem
