This is a small mod which takes the spawnpoint of a map and calculates the spawn chunks around it, then it draws them in a big blue box.NOTE: Known Issues: Some people find this to be inaccurate after you switch dimensions or if you die when and respawn in a bed. 1. I heard in your video that the last 2 chunks don't "affect entities" does that mean that you can't build an iron trench there?
2. can I use your mods in a public modpack?

1. You can build an iron trench, you just have to either load more chunks or do something tricky about it. I will be updating this soon to try to distinguish between the two areas so it's easier for people to tell.
2. No problem with me. Modpacks, altered versions, and remakes are fine with me. I just ask that you do not claim them as the original and that you make a mention of me, that's all.
having a bit of a problem getting this and vilage to work in minecraft 1.6 i load it up with forge on my 1.6 and it wont show them as loaded and i do not get any errors from forge or anything i cannot figure out what is wrong so that i can use your amazing plugin. both zip files are in the mods folder as is needed with the new minecraft can you help me?
I have attempted to install this. I am running 1.6.2 with the Forge Mod installed. The spawnchunks mod isn't recognized by Forge so it doesn't get loaded.
Looking at the internals to the spawnchunk mod it appears at first glance to be missing the mod_SpawnChunks.class file.

I'm sorry, currently, no Forge version exists. I do plan to make one eventually, but I haven't gotten around to it.
Seem Spawn Chunks displaying incorrect spawn size for 1.6.1.
I love this mod, was very useful when I use it in V1.5.1 to build . I build the Iron farm in the corner spawn chuck which was about one-to-two block away from sides of spawn chunk outline.
I used same seed -56868860 from from old world for v1.6.1. This time the spawn chuck mod outline bigger area, which I was think maybe 1.6.1 has bigger spawn area. Build the Iron Golem Farm (only add village on top part) from a block from corner again, which work fine. Went back to spawn point, where I have ungrounded base to AFK over night. Came back, to see there no iron. However, as I stand at collection point iron golem start coming. So it seem there maybe issues with displaying correct spawn chunk layout.
If there issues, I use v1.5.1 layout and MCEdit farm in correct location.

For those using Forge, try using Magic Launcher which setup two configuration one use Forge with ur normal mod, and other config with no Forge for spawn chuck. Can quickly switch between them. (Seem if I mess up my dirt outline of spawn chuck)
Having some trouble with this one too. I deleted meta-inf and added the bfi.class, but when I launched there was no bounding box. am I missing something?

I use Magic Launcher which I add spawn chuck as mod without need delete meta-inf or/& adding class. See Guide below for using Magic Launcher. If you use Forge, this Guide will cover that, but Spawn Chuck doesn't work with Forge. You could may different profile that only has spawn chuck.
