I just downloaded lukiexe's custom "Wandering Isles" map. When I mine the trees the leaves do not decay. I thought this was funny because I have downloaded one of his other maps and the leaves decayed how they should. Is there any way to fix this?
Minecraft also have undecaying leaves With map creator tools you have an option to create your world with such leafs - it is often used when creators add some custom trees With mods like worldedit it is possible to change the ID of these leafs - but in this case all custom trees will lose their leaves

Huh, I never knew about this, people always told me that the game alone decides which leaves are which and it can't be controlled (?).
I guess OP's next bet is to change the ID and then just put extra logs or wood blocks around some leaves, and maybe wrap them in more leaf.
