I am unable to find the stronghold in my world. The world was originally made on my sister's local device and then I took it and made it a server since I was leaving for university and wasnt able to play over LAN like we had been. We have gotten to the time in the world where we want to face the elder dragon, so we set out looking for it using eyes of ender. We got to the place where the eye would go down into the ground and dug down, only to hit bedrock :(. We dug around for a while and eventually gave up and went to find a different stronghold. Again, we dug down where the eye went and hit bedrock, and after digging around some more got frusturated and gave up. At this point i was tired of searching and recreated the world so I could go into spectator mode and look around. Using the /locate command and then using /tp to teleport right to it in spectator mode I could look around underground to see if the stronghold was anywhere near and I couldnt find them anywhere near where it said they were supposed to be. When I use the /seed command, it just says [0], but when I go to the original world file on my sister's computer it says [-70329307428942772287]. When I created a new world with this seed (we'll call this the original), I was able to find the terrain where we built out houses and farm and stuff, so I know it was the right seed. When I use /locate and /tp to get to the stronghold on this one, I can find a stronghold. However, when I go to those exact coordinated on the server world, it is a completely different biome, and there is no stronghold there, so I am a little lost as to what I should do. We have spent a ton of time on this world so I really dont want to have to just restart from scratch as we have put many hours into this world. Can anyone help?
How old is this world? World generation has changed several times over the years, most notably in 1.6.4-1.7, with 1.9 changing the locations of strongholds (it also appears they changed in 1.13 and 1.16 since ChunkBase's stronghold finder app has separate options for those versions), which would explain why terrain is completely different; it is also possible that the seed changed at some point, especially if the game had ever crashed, with a seed of 0 being a pretty sure indication that the seed was lost as this is not a normal seed, and in either case the game will lead you to where strongholds would be in the current seed or version but they will not exist since the game only places structures during chunk generation (with the exception of ocean monuments).

Use tools like this:
https://www.chunkbase.com/apps/seed-map
Use your seed and choose the Minecraft version
Set the filter to stronghold and check for the coordinates

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
we made it in 1.16.5
