So I was browsing through youtube, watching Minecraft videos and all of a sudden I see a video, made by NiftySmith. The video was titled "Can You Survive Hardcore Ice Spikes? (Day 1-50)", in the video he said that there was a chance of a tree spawning but it was <0.1%. So I decided to try it out. Well...It did not go so well. I have played in three different Ice Spikes worlds and right now I am playing it the fourth time. Is there any Ice Spikes world seeds that you guys know about?(Which have a tree spawned in them). It would be very helpful. Also this is my first time being here so hello and goodbye.
This Reddit thread has two seeds with a tree near spawn (within 200 blocks of 0,0); "i used to rule the world" (surface world type) and "daikusa" (floating islands world type). Both seeds are the quoted text, without the quotes:
Well, I have to say this again thanks TheMasterCaver for telling me world seeds! It's awesome! Unfortunately, some time has passed as you can see and I died in that world ):, but I myself was interested again, if I can find a tree in ice spikes biome I know its nothing much and other people have done this, still, I want to at least do something for this community and found this seed. Well the only problem is (if it is a problem for some of you) its quite far away from spawn, its coordinates are 4494 68 -14. Well, good luck guys! Just go to the east, that's how I did it.
Oh I forgot to say that this is the 1.16.5 version of minecraft. Anyway, good luck!
Yes, Even a mushroom biome might grow trees if there is a grass block. If you want wood in an ice spikes biome get enough obsidian from ruined portals, make the portal then light it, then mine the tree from the nether forests.
Damn, that is pretty clever. Your strategy is pretty good, ruined nether portals are not that rare in general, I should have thought of that, but the thing is, the nether is pretty dangerous when you are playing in hardcore mode, one wrong move and you're out. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but aren't nether forests quite rare? Well, maybe not that rare, lets say uncommon.
Can someone tell me whether trees can spawn or not in ice spikes only world in 1.18.1? Please don't send any seeds in reply to this. Just a yes or a no. I would like to do the hardwork in finding a tree on my own.
I'm trying to find trees in 1.19 Ice Spikes but I started before that version, I know I found a tree in a world before 1.19 but I can't remember if it was before or after 1.18, I'll tell you if I happen to find one. I erased the world after I died (it was a hardcore world ofc) so I can't get the version from any means unless you know a way.
I would also like to know but for the latest version (1.19 at this day) if possible.

Here is another seed for 1.15.2, although it may not work in 1.16.4:

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Thank you so much! I will try it out immediately.
So I tried out the first seed and it worked! Thanks!
