I have been doing a lot of villager breeding recently. They both have workstations, more than enough food (over 30 each sometimes!), and 2 + 1 beds. Most of the time, the "in the mood for love" hearts show up. But there are times that at the end of the heart, sparks start flying. Other than they finding out that they really do not love each other, what do the sparks mean?
IIRC it basically means that there's not enough beds.. It might be that if you have a baby too near then it will 'claim' the 3rd bed
I believe you need to get the baby as far away as possible - as quickly as possible.
I'm not sure how far away a [baby] villager has to be to 'unclaim' the bed or the range a villager can 'see' a bed so maybe you might have a grown villager nearby that claims the bed preventing the willingness of the 2 breeding villagers
