Hey guys! How we doing. I'm currently in the dumps atm just died on amazing progress. Almost to the point where I develop the strength of the insane if you know what I mean.
I figure I make a return to the forums after a while of not talking on here. I was hoping anyone on here could share their stories on how well some of you did up until the point you die in game.
Details preferably but yeah, hopefully I feel better after this. I wonder if anyone has a similar if not worst experience than me.
Spawned in a world. Found a village almost immediately, Built a house, Create a strip mine at layer 12. Built a large farm and got crazy rich off of minerals and resources. filled in the entire map and lived up to 90+ days. the very bane of this seed was that there was too many ravines. Ravines that were 30-40 layers deep obviously meaning death. I fell a one time and luck would have landed in a block of water. I felt my body tense up, then tingle, as I gave a big sign of relief.
As I left the village to go on a trade venture, I found a village, spent the night there, and went off to another village I knew that wasn't far off.
I was in a swamp The very place I least expected anything out of place and As Soon as I came ashore I fell into a ravine, I landed on a ledge Not thinking I was going all the way down half health, then jumped accidentally because obviously I was in full on panic mode and saw how much farther there was I was like DUDE.... *Dies*......... UNCOOL...... score 12k
Deleted it out of a slight rage but eh what else could I do. I treat normal worlds like Hardcore, Dead dead. Game over. I don't like looking at my stats saying you died once or twice. I like that number to be at 0.

If you want a recent example, I was doing a fast-paced UHC in an amplified world the other day and I had a Looting 3 sword so was really happy with that run. Then when I was going to get blaze rods, I got hit and lost a lot of health to the fire so I just needed to get myself a regeneration potion to make up for that lost progress. I descended into the fortress to find Nether wart. It was quite dark and I got surprise attacked by a Wither skeleton which ended the run.
I can't think of any extremely devastating deaths in my history of playing Minecraft but the oldest world I played in which I still have access to (there were three worlds I played in before then but they were all on others' devices so I could not keep them) I have a tradition of playing only on Christmas day (I think I may have played it outside of Xmas for a few days after when the game was still new, but after a while I kept it to Xmas only) I died in last year. Thankfully I managed to recover most of my stuff but I'm still really disappointed to have died in a world so important to me.
I do not like dying either but if a world means a lot to me I will open the world, continue playing, and leave that death in the past.
@Miracledinner Dang man that sucks. I also expanded the land greatly as well shoveling down hills and uneven terrain in minecraft to look a lil more realistic not to mention make the village less death proof from high heights as well as expanding my land to build the giant farm. Each crop would have a 5 by god knows how many rows of 5 but it was enough to get 2 stacks of 64 wheat and 3 stacks of 64 carrots and potatos and beetroot.
I'm a very prideful minecraft player I do not like dying under any circumstance. What would of prevented this death was simply Feather falling boots and obviously watch where I'm going better, But I only wanted to use it with my diamond armor and all i had left was literally the boots. Otherwise I stuck with my iron armor which was anywhere between 25-10% durability left.

I'm a woman by the way.
It's not so bad, I'll try another UHC sometime and hope for the best.
