", times, serif">The Badlands are nothing, but merciless. With towering mountains, that are blown out of proportions, and deep valleys, these scorched lands are simply out of the ordinary overworld. A vast lonely wasteland. You won't find much wild life here, due to the shortage of vegetation, which seems to be dominant. What's more likely to find though are dead bushes and cactuses, that are scattered everywhere.

", times, serif">You will need all the resources you can get. Locate the nearest lake(s) or pond(s), and cave(s). Pay attention to ores in the rock walls. You might need these later. As you know, you won't find trees here, but the dead bushes will drop sticks. The only other way to find wood is in the abandoned mines. These mines may also hold other valuable treasures, such as cobweb, precious metals and sometimes minecarts that are filled with goodies.

", times, serif">Do not roam outside during the night! It's a high risk!
", times, serif">If you already found a mine that held wood, you should bail ASAP, craft a pickaxe and dig into the nearest mountain. You can always build a house out of rocks, or make a haven on the inside of the mountain.
", times, serif">If you don't have tools you can do like the real spiders; dig your own little burrow and block the entry with sand. (Dig horizontally! Sand will fall down vertically).

", times, serif">3. Food.
", times, serif">I don't need to say that food is vital for survival. Even when there's not a single cow, sheep or chicken in miles area, there's ways;
