Finished teirs 1-5 I believe on V2 of my automtic catus farm. Now I'm trying to decide on witch design to use for my reed farm, the manual that is, and finished one section in my Mine. Pictures?

Found my first nether fortress, completed a few achievements (Overkill, Into Fire, and Local Brewery) and upgraded my base's fence with a netherrack brick fence/lit nettherack combo.
Still needs more work on the entry ways and I plan on adding a giant lookout tower/lighthouse on the top of the middle section.
You can probably also tell that I really had no plan when I was making this, I just sort of added elements as I went. I still don't know what I am going to do with the four pillars that are standing outside either end of the main structure.
Also, I finished exploring the full extent of the Map centered on my base. One very large forest biome, two jungle biomes, the edges of two swamps, a lot of ocean, and a desert across the ocean (with an NPC village). I'm sort of dissapointed that I couldn't find any biomes with snow, pine trees or wolves in them... Wolves are about 10x more useful than that silly cat (especially in 1.2.4, where it will sit on a bed or chest and refuse to move off of it when it is not ordered to sit.)
When last I played (this morning before work), I was clearing out part of a forest and researching old-fashioned blacksmith buildings. I'm trying to build my own village/city in Survival and so far have a single house. I'm also writing a story so I can post the story of all of it in Screenshots - the single house is the dwelling in which the first settlers of the village lived. The blacksmith is going to be necessary to build and maintain iron tools for the village.
Keep running out of stuff then I have to go collect more. Starting to get annoying and I haven't even gotten started on decorating the inside of it yet.
Beat Ender Dragon on Hardcore for the first time Finished Enderfarm and now have all diamond item 50+ enchantment except axe and shovel. Epicness. Going to make railway to end portal. About 200 meters away from home
To make your enderman xp farm did you have to do a sky scaffold wayyy away from the main end island? or did you dig up all the endstone so they couldn't spawn anywhere else?
Very recently, in the first world I ever built (which was Pre-1.8), I decided to trek out of my settlement in search of Post 1.8 updates, including NPC Villages, Melon Seeds, and Pumpkins (to make an Iron Golem).
I ended up finding a few jungle and swamp biomes surprisingly, one NPC Village where I stayed for a night on my adventure (and 2 nights on my way back), and I eventually found a ravine with an abandoned mineshaft AND a chest containing melon seeds.
I was very happy to find this in my Pre-1.8 world. I love the new Anvil format :')
Now I want to expand my settlement's Minecart travel system to eventually go to the NPC village I came across, and I'd like to see if I can venture deep into the Nether to find any fortresses for blazes and netherwarts to begin potion making!
recently got efficiency 3 and unbreakable 3 on my diamond pickaxe, pretty win first try, now gotta afk at zombie spawner when I'm ready to enchant my sword in hopes of sharpness and fire enchant combo.
Earlier today I started working on expanding my newest base in my World 1. This is about 1400 blocks south and 300 blocks east of the first house I built there.
I added about 16 blocks of area on two sides of the outer wall, and began adding to that wall using stone bricks. It is 3 blocks high x 2 blocks thick. I plan to make it 6 blocks high, with a fenced in walkway on the top.
At the same time, I've also been digging out my 5th branch mine north of the base. To get there, I have to take minecart tracks north and west to an underground station I built a long time ago, then go down to around layer 50. There I take another minecart north and east around 400-500 blocks to the mine itself.
It is in an area which existed prior to the recent updates, so diamonds can be found between layers 16-19 here. It is so old an area that there is even no lapis lazuli.
I am currently in my 5th branch mine, having earlier completed the wall expansion around my base south of the castle. I have finally reached the diamond levels (pre 1.8 - diamonds begin below layer 20), and have gotten a total of 28 diamonds from 3 different veins. Fortune III enchanted pickaxe FTW - I would have gotten 14 without it.
Earlier I found 2 slimes wandering one of the levels above where I was mining. The area contains 5 slime spawning chunks. On nearly every trip to the mine, I've managed to bring back at least 2 slimeballs, sometimes more than that. Last run through it I got 9.

The following is true, the former is false.
Now looks like this.
Inside.

They took 40 blocks. That’s as many as four tens. And that’s horrible.
Looks great. I never have a plan when I'm building my stuff so it takes me forever to finish building.
Hope nobody finds my flint and steel...

I just hunt records normally, no fancy contraptions. It's not too hard.
