You should try to get every colour sheep possible. Then you will have carpets of every colour to spruce up your base with. I can't wait to see the Stone Age.
I will post mine soon when the wall is finished. (It's a big wall).
Finished the stone age, and having to use only wooden tools during the wood age really makes you appreciate stone tools. Also, i'm new here, is there a way to use photos besides uploading them, because using that method I can only use 5?.
Anyways, Here is my stone age castle:
Here is an aerial view of the castle, including the keep, the courtyard(area with the birch trees, it also has flowers and benches), and my sheepies:
Here is a close up view of the keep, with the guard tower as well:
So I would like to post an update on my progress for the iron age. Also, I found a resource pack and shader I like, so the photos should be prettier.
So first off, I chose my castle colors. I chose the Cascadia flag. I also need to come up with a cool name for this castle, like Cascadenburg or something(burg being a german suffix meaning castle), so suggestions please!
I think videos are fine as long as you cover all the requirements.
on a completely unrelated note I just finished a huge part of my base, or, more like a fortress. Now that I have excavated the land and built a blueprint of the wall in dirt I just need to make my keep and wall, a wheat farm, and an animal pen and I will be finished the wood age.
in this image you can barely see my cat on the left, my spawn is the weird tower in the middle, the hole in the wall will be the gate, below the gate are dirt outcrops, the bottom one shows what level the dock will be on and the top one shows where I will make the ground level outside the main gates, this will also be where a bridge will connect the spawn to the wall and a suspended walkway attached to the wall, the part inside the walls is 1 block below sea level. Both sides of the wall end outside the picture where massive turrets will be placed. This was all made using wood tools (it took forever).
i added a temporary tree and wheat farm. Wrapped the wall in birch planks which will become a walkway once I expand it. I added a nice gazebo to spawn in with a bridge to connect it to the wall. At the end of the wall is a dirt outline of one turret, There is another on the other side of the wall.
You can upload the pictures to Imgur, or such sites and add them to your post from there. That way, you can add pictures that are bigger and they can be viewed easier.
Challenge accepted!
This is a really fun challenge! Here is my progress through the wood age:
Here is my keep with the wall:

For those of you unfamiliar with Cascadia:
Here is the main gate for my castle, at night:
And a bird's eye view of Cascadenburg so far:
wow! looks great so far.
Looks great, the shaders help soooo much I can't play without them anymore.
I'm in for this challenge, instead of posting screenshots on the forums like you want people too, can we just make YouTube videos of the gameplay?
Agreed, But my recordings get too laggy. :'(

Just another progress update.

how do you remove it from the attachment section?
thanks.
is there a way to stop the pictures from getting foggy?
