The problem would less be getting Creepers and more getting them and not zombies and skeletons and the like.
I don't discount the idea entirely. After all, minecart tracks aren't hard to set up, and there's a certain psychological factor to "THEY ARE THROWING ****ING CREEPERS AT US."
And how do you get a hold of the creepers?Off topic: For some reason, my entire "my content" page has been erased. Does anyone know why that might have happened?
yeo, I also thought to myself of how you would do that, but I guess cleverly guiding the creeper will get him/her/it into the minecart
Also, my "My Content" was also erased, weird.

LOL! Well, like it says, low morale is a very great N cost for yourself. The idea of literally creeper-bombing a base is a gigantic P cost if executed right, the iron lost on the tracks and minecarts is something you can go and mine again. But it would also be very hilarious just watching your enemies scrambling frantically figuring out how those green little bastards are getting inside of their base and how to get rid of em.
Also, the creepr-bombing idea is the first time I've ever heard of somebody combining the idea of using mobs to your advantage and TNT cannons.
You sir have made a war guide to what even a real general could need. This guide consists of over 25 ways of enhancing an army of great talents. I could need this for my wars any time!
On the topic of the "drop pod" thing, the enemy could simply fill up or cover the water, denying you your escape route. And the water doesn't need to literally form a waterfall, it can just flow 7 blocks and stop, or hit a half-slab; The idea is to give the boat enough time to build momentum and clear the fortress, lest it just get stuck in the side of the wall.

The boat would break. Minecarts would be better for descending.

Last I checked, you can fall any distance in a boat without taking damage, which is the idea. Though, yes, minecarts could also work, but iron is more precious than wood.
You know, I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned animal breeding yet. It's by far the easiest new feature to discuss, and one of the most important. It revolutionizes farming, because now you can make as many animals as you want.

The new animal breeding will also make animals more valuble, because if an enemy kills your animals, you have to search for a while to find others, if you are lucky.

Well, anyways, I had an abandoned house from which I destroyed all the torches, and made the creepers follow me to the motor track. I also sent in a few skeles to fire arrow at them after the creepers :smile.gif:

Last I checked, they fixed that but you can still avoid taking damage by jumping out of the boat just before you hit the ground.
well, with the coming animal breeding, efficient mob farms will erupt all over the forums and youtube (and already did). This will be a great addition for
1: As stated above, you can make a self-sustainable base underground, where there is pretty much no chance for mobs to spawn
2: Leather will be A LOT easier to get, and will be used a lot more, since if you combine a piece of iron armor or diamond armor with leather, it greatly increases the durability of the mostly leather armor, cheap and effective!
3: Animals will be A LOT more important now, since they can provide easy food without the need to harvest and replant plants, and, if built correctly, you can make a great grinder that automatically cooks the meat dropped by pig/cows/chickens.
4: This is for the chickens, chicken farming will be MUCH easier now. First, you don't have to wait for them to lay eggs, you can just have the reproduce so that you can use all the eggs for tasty cake! Plus, a grinder could make a great way to collect eggs and meat. If a person with great skill designing grinder could make one that has a feature that allows you to have 2 or more "parent" chickens that you feed wheat to, to make more chickens, you could make the newly born chickens go to a room filled with water, and with the flick of a switch you could make all the chickens go into an incinerator that kills the and cook their meat, while the eggs stay at the bottom of the water filled room, ready to be collected, or, they could be carried farther to a nice little collection area.

As far as I know, baby animals don't drop loot or XP.
On a separate note: What about potions? Any strategies for them?

Not so much strategies, just make a lot of them, and use them before battle, or other circumstances where you need to run faster, or swim through lava.
3: I read on the wiki that some player use the strategy to combine leather armor, which is cheaper, with a higher tier piece of armor to bump up the durability, especially if the armor is at medium-low durability.
Look it up in the wiki, it's in the armor page
4: well, there isn't much known about baby animals, so... who knows? And also, I completely forgot about baby animals when writing that post.

Not sure what you mean by that. We just haven't had any serious input for a while.
I love you so much for that, Jal ♥

I get the same message. Apparently, the forum staff closed it. I'm working on getting it back up.
True.
