creepers have skin like dry leaves. As we all know, one of a cat's favorite toys is a dead leaf swaying in the wind.

Are youbored of minecraft? It's not the new features. I'll give you a hint:It's the terrain generation. Go play a map generated in 1.7.3 or earlier, then tell me you don't agree.
Cats are immune to creeper attacks. Both creepers and cats know this because of the countless past attacks creepers
tried to lay on cats. But the were defeated every time, needless blowing up. Thousands of creeper ashes started to build
up until there a was a ban placed by the creeper council to come into contact with cats. Kind of like a restraining order. Naturally they started attacking the next target that weren't allied or under a peace treaty with, minecraftians. However, minecraftians have discovered
ocelots, the ability to tame them, and their creeper repellant capabilities. As such, cats are a hot commodity with many a minecraftian. Heck, with an army of cats and wolves behind them, minecraftains are nearly invincible. Except they have to avoid cliffs, and lava, and their precious pets wandering off too far.....
Long ago creepers used to live in the caves known as the nether, they were the weaker spawn compared to the mighty ghast brethren they ate the the red netherack and soulsand, they had been powerless to do anything as the fiery blaze took over, they had to make alliences with the zombie pigman, everything failed and the creeper was forced to leave, and good thing. The blazes used their pyromancy to create the magma cubes which helped crush the rebellience. They headed to the top of the nether and took the pathway into the jungle temples. Above ground they learned to knaw the ferns and leaves peacefuly. Then they met the humans; these awful creatures could use their intelligence to make weapons and various contraptions. The humans had started to hunt them for sport than they met the ocelot, these beasts saw the creepers as something to test their voodoo magic. The ocelot warriors took them to the mage, ocelot the creepers now bilogicaly known as Laura and clark were tortured by the soldiers, both of them by the method known as Mewhisspurr or Face shape which tears a forced frown on the face. Then when the arived at the mage they tested a spell known as Sulphercide which makes the creeper explode whenever they get emotional, then they cast them out of the city, to this day the creeper tries to set up ceasefires with us but always ends up slightly angry triggering the spell they now wear the deformed face as a symbol of pride.

I don't really care if you click the green arrow, but if it makes you feel like you make me feel good...
It is clear to me now the real reason creepers are afraid of cats. A long time ago, there was a bulldog. He wasn't the brightest bulldog, and decided to mate with a tree. His offspring came to be known as the Creeper, who have four legs and hate you like a bulldog, and are tall and green like a tree. Creepers are afraid of cats due to the natural hate between cats and dogs, and the fact that cats love to stick their claws into trees to climb them. So the Creeper knows in it's little TNT heart, that if it were to be caught by a cat, it would be climbed like a tree, then killed like a dog attacked by cats. And that, my friends, is the true reason Creepers are afraid of cats.

Long ago back before players made the first village, creepers and ocelots were friends. They sat together and ate lunch, they played "who can hiss longer", and slept under the nice night sky with zombie and skelebones. But one day, the first human saw these two together playing the hissing game, the human knew the creeper was known for being a gunpowder user. So Steve stabbed the creeper injureing it, because the creeper's were not at war with humans at the time the creeper was super scared. The human forced the Ocelot/Cat to come with him or he would tell everyone Ocelots/Cats were evil. The cat had no choice and went with the human. The creeper told his friends who told the king, thus starting the war. But whenever a creeper sees a cat, he remembers all the times they had together, so he stays back to avoid killing the cat.
Long, long ago, before Notch started coding, Minecraftia was created by three Ocelots. They created water, fire, earth, and air. They placed animals on the land and monsters in the caves. They created the sun and the moon.
But the world was flat. They added mountains and deserts and oceans and forests. But the creepers didn't like it. The creepers wanted a flat world. So they rebelled against the Ocelots, genetically mutating themselves to be fused with dynamite, made out of another element the Ocelots had created, called Sulfur.
The Ocelots, being the Creators of Minecraftia, simply killed any creeper that tried to get close to them with a flick of their paw. The creepers were terrified of this power and stopped the rebellion.
The Ocelots decided to leave Minecraftia and create a human form of themselves. This was Notch. They released their world as a digital application, hoping to share the creation with the human world. It became wildly popular as a "game."
The creepers, realizing that the Ocelots were gone, relentlessly tortured the players. They would destroy their hard work and try to restore the world to the flat wasteland it once was. After a while the ocelots decided that the players were running out of materials to repair the creeper blasts with and channeled a small part of their energy back into Minecraftia.
The creepers knew that what was there now was just a small part of the Ocelot's power and continued with their destruction. However, they are still wary of the cat form of the Ocelots, seeing as the cats are less timid and are willing to aid the players in their adventures. This could mean that they have more power, more energy to simply execute the creepers without lifting a paw.
In the greatest depths of the jungles of which ocelots dwell, there is a council of ocelots, many of their villages were being raided by the dastardly suicidal creepers, so they decided to go on the offensive. The creeper's capital was deep in a cave filled with many traps, but the ocelots' agility allowed them to navigate the traps quickly and efficiently. Due to this, the creepers had no idea the ocelots were coming until it was too late, it was a fierce battle, but after many losses, the ocelots used their natural agility to bait the creepers into exploding then jumping away. This new tactic frightened the creepers so much, that they started to flee, knowing the battle would only result in their own death. As the creepers retreated, the ocelots ravaged their capital, tearing everything to shreds until no records of this incident were left, as they state, the victors write the history, but these victors didn't want the truth out, or anything to be exact, so they themselves swore an oath of silence in remembrance of the battle, and of their fallen brothers and sisters. The creepers, having disbanded, now did not have any home, and split up, trying their best to avoid the fearsome ocelots. The ocelots, not seeing any more creepers, began to come out of hiding, only to encounter a frightening creature, that walked upright like the creeper, but they soon saw the fish in his hand, and cautiously came out to take it, knowing that these creatures are friendly, they then begin to follow them, in hopes of getting more fish, but alas, they cannot tell their brethren about this because of their oath to silence.

"Quoting yourself, the only way to make sure you have the exact quote you need for the exact reason you want it," -Soduh_Man
Reason 1: Why is everyone confused about why the Creepers stay away from cats? You just need to accept the fact that the cats are the real miners; that you're only there to get blown up .
Reason 2: Because Creepers stay out in the sunlight and can get pretty warm, cats see them as a perfect place to take naps on. If a cat knocked a Creeper over, the Creeper's lack of arms would make it a living cat bed forever*.
*It would be unable to explode, because the constant purring of a cat scrambles up the insides of a Creeper. Don't get me started on what flies can do to Charged Creepers...
Reason 3: Creepers have dry, leafy skin, that's similar to scratching posts.
Some cats kill snakes.
The End.
I AM A GIRL!
