There's plenty of guides out there. Look around for building tips. You can't just build a big epic house easily. It takes many failed attempts, tips, pointers, and practice. The more you build, the better you get :wink.gif: I'm currently just getting out of the box house with one material, so I'm no help to you. Keep trying though, and I'm sure you'll get there.

I started on my first night with one house, moved to a better location, and build a house with one room. I am starting to build off of it more and more.
Build some blueprints before you build! What I mean by blueprints is just open up Microsoft Paint or something and put a tiny pixel for each block, so you'll know exactly what you're house is gonna look before you build. Just start drawing a blueprint. tweak it a little and start building it.

it is just not verry efficient
My advice is to go on Creative mode and just make designs of your own, then recreate it in your world.
Although not every choice is going to translate perfectly into minecraft format since blocks are 1 Meter tall.
