I probably should have said this when I first saw the topic, but...
As far as I'm concerned, this is great, and I hope you finish the "building with biomes" section. I'll certainly keep this page handy the next time I try building something significant.
And for what it's worth, I agree that spoilers would probably be a good addition.
Haha your first sentence makes it seem as if you're criticizing this topic (not saying I mind any of course). But thanks, I have added spoilers now - looks much cleaner than before.
dude, this guide is amazing! you changed completely my building skills, i hope you can update it soon
Thanks would love to see what you did with these tips. I'm actually about to start work on the interior part, even though I'm not done with the building with biomes section lol. I'll see what I can do in the next couple of days.
Amazing! Even though I consider myself a decent builer, I never think too much of adding depth to walls and use hardened clay. I will definitely use that more often!
Can't wait for new biomes, perhaps swamp could be something to tackle?

Started the interior design section. I know I'm not done with the building with biomes section, but I suppose you can say I get bored rather easily. There will be more parts to it of course, but what do you think of it so far?

It definitely helped me, not a huge fan of the jungle section but that's only because I hate the looks of jungle wood. I'll be checking out the interior section soon.

This guide is amazing! You should add guides on building with the new coloured glass.
Haha I'm no expert on that just yet. Just like when the hardened clay came out the first time, I need to experiment it for quite a while before I can build something significant with 'em. Right now I think the glass is incredibly dark and too grey. I don't mind if it's not as see-through, as real stained glass are translucent, not transparent, but a little bit brighter in colour wouldn't hurt I think.
This guide is amazing, and I found it at the perfect time. I've been wanting to make and share more buildings for the mod Sim-U-Kraft, since I feel the ones within the mod currently are lacking/boring, but wasn't sure where to start with it. Thanks to this, I think I can make some headway. c:
The hardened clay + oak log + spruce wood example wall looked a LOT like bdubs barn.
Indeed it does, but it's purely coincidence that it's very similar. I only took the ice, snow, clay palette from him, and not the clay, spruce, log one. That one I was experimenting with different blocks myself and it turns out looking good together.
Nope http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voxel
Anyway, great guide, I'm really waiting for the Taiga snow and swamp, should be interesting.

As iJohnnyBme said, the name Voxel is from the actual word Voxel. I don't think anyone has actually mentioned voxel and is talking about myself.
Thanks, don't expect much pretty soon though; school has been pretty busy recently.
