So I got on Minecraft to continue mt survival game, and my entire inventory was gone. Panicking I rebooted minecraft to see if it changed. I still had no inventory. What's even crazier is that I went to my chests and they were all empty too, even my ender chest.
If you know whats going on or a way to get it back please help, I really don't want to start over again.
They changed the inventory data, and if you saved in the snapshot, you will get exactly the symptoms you describe. All inventory gone, all chests empty, but everything else seems fine (house, mine, farms, etc.).
If you don't have a backup, then you are probably SOL.
For some reason when I started MC the other day it had a 13w snapshot from last year selected, so my inventory(s) were cleared.
I was able to restore from Volume Shadow copy using Previous versions to a copy that was a few days old. Lost some changes and build work and all my item frames popped off when I loaded it (for some reason), but I didn't lose nearly as much as I would have if I had to revert to my last backup about a month ago.

Simple. Just restore the backup that you were strognly advised to make when you enabled "snapshots" in the launcher, and you're all set. Piece of pie!

You think magic isn't real? Consider this: for every person, there is a sentence -- a series of words -- which has the power to destroy them.
