Title says it all. By “intense” I mean hard-living conditions which despise lives. BTW sorry if there are any threads talking about the same subject, I cannot read ALL the threads
Alright, time to share my story with you. I also prepared screenshots for you but I’ll show them next post because I’m writing this post on my phone.
So I decided to create a “4th attempt” HC world. Little did I know where it was gonna spawn me: a Mushroom Island! (that world didn’t last long though)
Fun fact: I technically spawned in an ocean biome, because near my spawn point was a patch of grass. Pressing F3 labels this grass as minecraft:ocean while it labels the mycelium as minecraft:mushroom_fields_shore.
And the worst part? The mushroom island was entirely surrounded by ocean, no mainland nearby...Which meant I’d have to swim out to sea to gather my necessary resources. And just my luck, I found a shipwreck! Primary reason was not the loot, but the masts which I used as wood supplies. I managed to get 4 pieces of oak logs and suddenly drowned, which knocked me down to 2 hearts... I went back to the mushroom island and crafted all these logs into planks, then made a crafting table and a pickaxe. I mined some stone and coal as well. Then I killed some Mooshrooms for food and only 2 pieces of steak managed to fully restore my health back
I went back to the shipwreck and managed to chop down the rest of the logs faster with my stone axe, constantly backing up to regenerate my oxygen bar. I also managed to get some loot from the shipwreck, one of which being a buried treasure map, however I didn’t follow the X right now. I decided to craft a boat and venture down the seas in the hopes of finding the mainland, but I’d return back to the mushroom island to build my house there (I like the “no hostile mobs spawning” aspect :P)
I found a desert biome (luckily I found a tree) and another shipwreck as well. I ran into the desert and found a savanna not too long after. I found some sheep to make a bed but only 2 of them ....
Just figured out that when I'd turn 8 years old, the 23th of November 2011, my parents could have offered me Minecraft as a birthday gift. Sigh...
Fun but frustrating platformer. Saves me of boredom when I don't feel like playing Minecraft. Knowledge of 8-bit old-school videogames is optional tho'.
What’s up fellas!
