I made a gravity trap under a skeleton spawner. The skeletons fall about 20 blocks into a large area. When enough skeletons accumulate, I press a button and some water pushes them to a place where I can kill them for XP.
The issue is that endermen frequently teleport into the bottom of the trap (I know they aren't spawning there because it's very well lit). This wouldn't be an issue except for the fact that they remove blocks from the walls. Sometimes the water goes through the holes in the walls and ruins the redstone connected to the pistons that control the water flow. Is there a way to keep endermen from teleporting into the bottom of the trap while making sure the skeletons still reach the bottom?
I have some pictures to give a better idea of what I'm working with.
This is the bottom of the pit.
The bottom area with the water on. The skeletons get pushed forward to where I can punch them safely.
I know that some of you will probably tell me to move the redstone back, but that doesn't keep the endermen from making annoying holes in the walls that mess up the water current.
Couldn't you make thickers walls to the outside, so that they won't be in range to port in?
I realise how unpractical of a solution that is, though. Just can't think of anything else...

Illusions to Illusions. The corpse that cannot return to Earth returns to Illusions!
Wait...Can't you use blocks enderman don't pick up?
If I go in the trap to replace the dirt in the walls, the spawner will activate and then skeletons will rain down on my head. It's doable, I guess, but a bit risky. That's probably my best option though. Thanks.
...why didn't I think of that? I feel kinda dumb now.

If you're for some reason playing a version where they can pick up any block, oh well; you're out of luck.
