Right now I have Screenflow but I find that it takes to long to export 10 min+ videos. Does anyone know a screen recorder with good quality but short export times?
I give you a bump as well because I am trying to find one too. I probably could just use google and easily find one but I am too lazy to get one myself.
Camtasia. You can get the full version for free by just typing "Camtasia for free" on youtube and it will give you product keys you have to put in. And then bam, you have it.
Edit: And it only takes about like 1-3 minutes of it to export it depending on how long you recorded.

OOOH!! I'm on a Mac!
Use the built-in Quicktime software. It has a screen recording feature, and movies are immediately placed in your Movies folder for editing, et c. Just go File>New Screen Recording in quicktime, start minecraft, and go full-screen (F11).
You can choose between medium and high quality if you want.
Good luck with your recordings.

One problem. I'm not on snow leopard. I'm on OS 10.5.8 not 10.6
-screenflow
-iShow U
-screenflick
-quicktime
-screen record 2
ive got no idea about quality and how much itll slow you computer down but just a general list of whats out there. some of these are paid and have trials i know iShowU only gives you 10min vids and a watermark so does screenflick. screenflow ive tested with and it works well smooth vids and easy to use there is a trial but if you going for a lets play or tutorials you should buy and get all the features. experiment and see what you like and what your computer can handle. hope it helps

Just stick with ScreenFlow, The others are too confusing, for example, Screenflow causes no slowdowns for me but Quicktime slows the heck out of your machine. And how are you playing Minecraft on 1.5.8?
I'm quite the shady customer.
