I made a 3x6x6 spider drowning trap with a water bucket, cobblestone and glasspanes. But while I can lure the spiders into the technically 2x1 space that the water flows in (they can't move up or down because the space between stone adds up to just one block, while the space between glass panes is closer to 2.) But when I leisurely watch their futile struggles, they just don't die. There's water above and below them, but to keep them trapped their feet have to be grounded in what is technically air around the glass. Is my trap doomed to fail?
