This is probably the worst fail in Minecraft history:
A couple of days ago I was playing my world "Journey to the Edge of the World", and I was around 10000 blocks away from my spawn point, and I was scaling a large mountain, 1 of 3 huge mountains. On my way up, I had a natural parkour to get through. I was overly confident because there was water below. Next thing I know, my 1 week of progress is gone when I see the "you died!" screen. Note to self: never jump near cliffs.

I don't even play Minecraft much anymore yet here I am on the Minecraft forums for some reason...
I was playing my main survival world, which I already had an almost complete enchantment room, a mine, a gigantic cobblestone house, lots of furnaces, lots of cows, super lots of sheep, rooftop farms, tree farms near my desert home, and a bunch of stuff in my house, when I fell into lava while making my second mine. I had a materials mine from which I made my house out of, then I kept going until I got bored. I was digging out the staircase to my branch mine, and I ended up falling in lava. I jumped out with 1/2 a heart left, then burned at the edge of the lava pool. Luckily I was able to locate my stuff and all of my valuables survived (except for my iron chestplate). Note to everyone: always look down before going down.
P.S. This was on my Xbox 360. I don't get much computer time so I play on my Xbox, but still a fail is a fail.
I was playing splitscreen multiplayer Minecraft on my Xbox recently... And the other player was standing next to a ravine when they got off their horse. They didn't realize they had wheat in their hand...
