So I was reading Notch's most recent blog post about the frame rate limiter and it got me thinking.
Whats everyones usual frame rate? I understand people not being able to play cause mine craft is CPU heavy sometimes. I was just curious is all what do people play at usually?.
Oh and the post on Notch's blog post i was talking about can be found here Notch.tumblr.com

before 1.6 i'd sit at 30 on far/fast AKA i was able to play on far
after 1.6 i get 20 fps on normal and i have to switch between renders to reset it every few minutes or it continues to drop as i play
Depends on so many things. Are new chunks being loaded? Am I looking over a long distance? Is there a lot happening in my view?
Max I've seen is 455 with Fast/Smooth disabled/Short while looking at the sky
Usually get 70-150 while playing normally. I would use the 90fps cap but it doesnt seem to work properly. It will reduce the frame rate even if its below 90fps. Say if I am getting 80fps using the 200 cap, If I turn on the 90fps cap the rate will drop to 60 or something.
Also playing fullscreen drastically improves frame rate (F11) for those having issues.

Fast graphics, 200 FPS cap, view bobbing disabled, auto GUI scale, tiny render distance, smooth lighting off, advanced openGL on.
By the way, does anyone know what advanced openGL does?
