What is the standard practice when it comes to starting a new world in survival mode? Do you keep whatever the dice have given you, or do you delete and create a new world if the given spawn isn't do you liking? For example, if you spawn in the middle of an ocean, instead of swimming in random direction do you just start over?
I am always restarting in an effort to find a prime starting spot. But is this considered somehow cheating?
For me personally, if I spawn in the ocean, I'm not about to go and work my butt off trying to find land. I simply delete the world and try again. That's just me though.
