Author's note: Hey guys! The name's Jon and I am new to the world of Minecraft. After watching videos and reading journals from other members of the community, I took it upon myself to start one up as well. Considering that I am playing ONLY on the Pocket Edition, I plan on making up what the Pocket Edition lacks from the PC and console version by presenting a pretty in-depth and detailed story-line (yes, screen shots will be done as well). Also, being on the Pocket Edition does allow a lot more updates to be pushed out since it's pretty much portable wherever I go. So expect constant updates from me. Other than that, I hope you all enjoy this survival journey and if you would like to see anything (story-wise) in particular, please let me know so I can try and incorporate that in my story! Without further ado, here we go...
Backstory: With news of an unknown location spawning unidentified creatures, scientist, Jon Coral, has volunteered to examine the land and research what many has deemed, "The Walking Dead." Jon will be leaving behind a wife and two kids during his research as he feels this will make the world a better and safer place as reports of these unidentifed creatures appearing could result in the end of mankind. Jon kisses his family good-bye and tells them that he will see them later, to avoid what can be their last moments together. As Jon's airplane takes off, he can see his family fading as the airplane goes further away from his family and closer to what will become his temporary home on this mysterious land. As the airplane approaches the unidentified land, the engines begin to fail to the surprise of the pilot and co-pilot. All systems were go before they had left so the sounds of a stuttering engine was one they were not expecting. As the airplane began diving down into the sea, Jon grabs his wallet and steadily looks at a picture of his family. Tears begin to fall from his eyes.
As the plane approaches sea, pieces of metal begin to detach from the plan due to the speed at which the plane was falling. As the plan hits the water, the glass from the front end of the plan shatters and water quickly fills the cabin killing both pilots in the process. Jon, momentarily blinded and stunned by the impact quickly unbuckles himself from his seat and attempts to escape before the plane is swallowed by the unforgiving sea. He manages to unlatch the door and escape just in time. As he swims away, he turns and watches as the plane is engulfed by the sea. Everything he brought for his research was left in the plane. He now has nothing. He continues to swim to shore and begins walking around the shoreline for any items that may of washed up. As he searches, he comes across a suitcase which contains a spare change of clothes and a journal which he planned on using to note his findings and observations. He changes and tells himself, "This research must continue one way or another!" He grabs the journal and begins writing...
I wash up on shore after what I thought would be my last day living as the plane crashed on my way to this unchartered land. As I hit the shoreline I notice I have come across a land that had lots of trees, a water source and surprisingly, animals! However, my first order of business is to find some sort of shelter as I see the sun is not far from setting. I turn to these wooden trees which I know I can turn into oak planks to make a sturdy shelter. Since I have no tools, I have to use my bare hands to break the wood. After some odd minutes, I manage to piece together a temporary shelter for the night and possibly next few nights as I plan on exploring this area for a bit. In the process I manage to build myself a work bench, a wooden ax to make chopping trees down faster.
Upon further exploration, I manage to to kill a couple of sheep for their wool and some pis for meat. Can't say I enjoyed it one bit but at this pint it's what's necessary. As the night approaches I begin hearing eerie sounds coming a few feet from my shelter. As I approach the sea, I see this dark green figure in the water. I approach it, thinking it was a pilot who survived, however, as I got closer his body began glowing in a ticking fashion. Worried, I backed off but was a bit too late. Apparently this creature explodes when he gets to close to a victim! I managed to leave with only minor wounds. I rush back to the shelter and decide to stay in for the night. I will need to build a bigger and more secure base.
As morning hits, I wander off a bit to find bones that were leftover and also arrows. Who could this have belonged to? Where did they go? I grabbed all that I could because I figure I would need these tools in one way or another. As I head back to the shelter, I notice a wolf that has strayed away from his pack. I bring out the bones I found earlier and apparently it was appreciative of it and began following me around. I will call him Baxter. I later found another wolf whom I tamed. Her name is Delilah.
As night approaches again, I begin to construct a bed as sleeping on the dirt was not as fun as I had thought. Maybe this bed will get me through the night faster. After careful thinking, I decided that tomorrow the second the sun comes out, I will go search for something to start a fire and provide heat. God knows I can only go so far without it. As the night approaches, I manage to construct a pickaxe. It's wooden so it won't last long. But long enough to get me started on a few projects for tomorrow.
Goals and Projects
Find items for fire/heat.
Find more sturdier material for equipment.
Possibly expand or relocate shelter to bigger location.

Dear Journal,
I wash up on shore after what I thought would be my last day living as the plane crashed on my way to this unchartered land. As I hit the shoreline I notice I have come across a land that had lots of trees, a water source and surprisingly, animals! However, my first order of business is to find some sort of shelter as I see the sun is not far from setting.
