Thanks for asking! Unfortunately I work in a school, and so far the UK government has declined to shut down the schools, though with a total of 35 dead over here now in the total of the UK, it might only be a matter of time. There doing a "delay" tactic at the moment now asking the vulnerable and over 70s to stay inside .
I will only do more redstone projects if it's likely something I need, but I'm glad I did this though. I have returned to the hotel at the Chunk Plaza development - and I've always been slightly concerned that one floor was maybe off, but it is worse that I thought. Indeed not one but two floors have apartments with only three high windows instead of four leading for this to have to happen:
I found out as I was going to replace all the floors and found nothing underneath one. Usually I allow a ceiling then a floor on top for the next level and I'm not sure I have even done that all the way up and have to check. Two floors are being re-adjusted, I've had to move two corridor floors up a block as well so every floor is correct top to bottom. There should be two layers between each floor - ceiling and the floor for the next level so this doesn't happen:
Although I have yet to clear this ceiling (There should be one block space above and below each window on each floor), the floor on top will bring it to window level not allowing that. So now I need to check every level.
Doing a build from scratch makes this easier but where this is carving out a chunk error wall has resulted in mistakes.
The wool? I took all 13 stacks of white wool from the new wool farm and it took all but 15 blocks left just to cover the gap between floors! Almost all 13 stacks to cover the entire floor.

Lock-in - locked on (To continuing the hotel)
Since the last update of the hotel at the Chunk Plaza development I added the end wall inside all apartments, this is on the far side of the plaza for the residential entrance.. This closes off the other side of the apartments:
On the other side of the gray wall I've added the same green concrete for the corridor so it's a two thick wall. I've also been continuing laying the basic birch floor in each apartment and as of time of writing have completed 8 out of 14 apartments so far! When digging pure stone floors up I have also been using the silk touch pick to get the pure stone back and have been using it to get a flat dirt/gravel free floors in the staircase corridor. this doesn't mean it will stay that way, but for now we have a nice even basic floor there.
I also moved the residential entrance from around the side (Despite having already flattened the grass area around it) to the front glass entrance and begun marking the reception out in basic blocks of where I might want things:
future dining room here?
Next to the seat perquisite is where a reception desk will go:
Maybe another counter on that back wall.
In between so as not to burn myself out I of course do mini-projects, Like finally deciding to do something to the inside of this tunnel that leads to the horse & donkey barn and sheep farm:
I shall add more flowers along the tunnel at a later date.
And adding a viewing platform where this bit of mountain sticks out and I always take my "overview" screenshot
Ilve also gone round and put glowstone in the local trees at home at the very top log and covering it with a leaf block, and old trick. Since Alpha I've got destroyed the leaf block either side of the trunks and hidden torches up there, but this is an extra step after removing torch spam the other month.
My main home at night:
I also went and bonemealed a lot of grass everywhere! Also something very minor but the walkway over the Chunk Plaza Station is only 4 wide and I've been wanting to add lighting up there so extended it out a block towards the tunnel just one block so it's 5 wide. Essentially on the outside it doesn't look much different except the middle color block is pushed back more:
I also have plans to make a chicken pen in the empty spot next to the cows and move them up there from where they are now (Just below lower behind this space) and turn that area into a little seating plaza. When I say "Pen" also I don't mean just sticking fences around it, I mean an actual little chicken hut made out of stair blocks!
For now I will continue the hotel floors and will hopefully get a "showcase apartment" up soon!

The tunnel looks quite nice; I am always a huge fan of those. Hopefully the rent for the apartments won't be too high, but then again - limited real estate, right?
Anyway, nice view. The rainbow beacon ties everything together fittingly.

Oh the rent would be through the roof, extortionate! I want it to be high quality inside, then there's the view!... Only for the mass emerald earning will full netherite suits!
Also forgot to add a small underwater tunnel improvement.

Improvements & reductions
In a bid not to burnout at the hotel/Chunk Plaza development, I have been at it again with the small projects to keep myself occupied. Many times I will will pass something and say to myself "I must remember to do that" such as replacing a stone brick block in the wall/divide outside the exterior of my bedroom of the main home. I finally only just did it the other day and got rid of the cobble block, and this was due to a creeper hole that may have formed. Anyway, One of the things was replacing the double iron doors that lead me down the stairsways all the way to lava level (11) and my main mob grinder:
Whilst it's fine - and there's nothing wrong with it, I do worry about leaving a door open one day. (Even though there's a piston operated automatic door at the very bottom). So instead, I decided to replace it with pistons and blocks and after what seemed a lifetime of not being able to get it to work right, ended up compromising for a redstone key device.
It works beautifully.
Whilst in that area, I've had an idea for months for the "On the way down the stairs" to re-use the former snow factory after it moved further downstairs. This room had remained sealed off but lit with torches inside and I did have an idea to turn the area into a aquarium. Of course I'd have to cut off room to the upstairs, but it was an idea. I almost let the idea go but decided to go for it in the end, which also meant a nice trip out to the more exotic and warmer 1.14 chunks to find a warm ocean and all those little tropical fish (Collecting Salmon and cod on the way).
Of course the walls still need fixing, the ceiling and I might add some coral blocks too to liven it up and add color at some point. At least (Armed with buckets) it got me out and about on an adventure collecting the fish!
I have also thought about reducing my Science lab somewhat and bringing the back wall more forward. Originally when I dug out the area to re-do it there was supposed to be a test chamber, I made this on my creative copy but for the life of me I cannot find the pictures now. I still couldn't help that perhaps I'd made the lab too big however. So I brought the back wall forward but it would also mean relocating the auto-brewing machine which uses dispensers to dispense the ingredients or accelerators into a glass shoot then via another button dispense water to push it into the hopper and into the brewing stand. This also inclused agents to add time lengths and to turn certain potions into splash potions.
Before:
After:
Over a month ago I had freed the solitary chicken in it's pen from it's glass encasement and spammed the area with an overflow of some of the eggs, not keeping them for eggs or feathers any more, not for a long time. These are now free-range chickens! Free to live there life! However this is not the best area for them , so a month ago I used the creative copy again to design an actual chicken shed using upside stairs as the main body. For this I would move them into the vacant lot near the well, next to the cow pen:
currently they are here:
After clearing the lot work began, but keep in mind the fencing is temporary and will be replaced with a low brick wall (Once I get the blocks - most likely trading) - in keeping with the area.
Former chicken area:
Funny situation after, I had gone away and come back and all the chickens were gone! It was my own fault I forgot to put the fencing round the back and also left a block they could also get over. After collecting more fencing from storage I returned and hit the long grass for seeds and went rounding them up! A couple may still be very "Free range" however at large and wanted in the vicinity!
After a bit more at the hotel at The Chunk Plaza's hotel and on another break I had discovered small amounts of diorite at the nearby Half-way House and more so at Mount DOOOOooom, as well as white concerete, where I was storing it for the mono-rail. So at one point I had one of those sessions where I just gathered the rest of the materials and thought "I'll just do as much as it as I can."
As we left it:
I went and finished all the railing/block placements and their slab tops, all the way along but now it was time for the big bit, the overhead shelter part at the top of the bubble elevators. There's always the weather and the chance of phantoms screaming at us, so there needs to be some safety and protection!
I feel alot happier that a lot more is done though the outside of the shelter is still to plain and flat and still needs some jazzing up, but I cam currently trying to come up with some designs. One night I heard pillager noises by the bridge, which I haven't heard in a very long time or had a patrol in forever also.
Couldn't see them at first though...
Oh...
Lastly, getting back to where the new chicken shed is, someone on discord (After showing my overview shot of my world) commented that my well was a bit off though. They were right however, and I told them they had a point, the well hasn't been touched in a few years and we can do a lot better than this roof now:
W.I.P.:
There was a lot of frustration during the making of this mainly due to creepers in the area and the number of holes I had to fill up. Little known fact: there are secret stairs down to the bottom of the well next to it. With the flick of a lever, pistons pull the grass blocks back and push the stairs in place. However this took a massive hit from one creeper, then another whilst clearing up. I decided to just make the stairs permanent.
I had three sticky pistons, a couple of repeaters and some redstone left but by then there were so many holes I had filled up, here several times and one of the far side of the well but thankfully not harming it, that I got frustrated and just filled the massive crater and decided to make the stairs a permanent fixture.
With the sheep pens also turning into a sheep farm properly now, I had a bit too much space inside and have been bringing some of the walls back in today to lessen the space and fore-shoretning the building slightly. Alas I guess I will be returning to the Chunk Plaza hotel now. All apartments have a temporary ceiling of dirt now and 10/14 apartments have the basic birch floor.
I did go afk at my wool farm though whilst at work one morning, quite successful for white wool:

Sometimes you have to focus your attention on one big project; sometimes it's a jumbo of little things - I am in the same boat at the moment. Don't want to get burned out with the reconstruction project, so must find... creeper holes to fill up!
Hmm, when did you build the auto brewer? Either I missed the post or didn't read too closely - how does it work? I still need to make one, damn it.
Haha at the chicken situation... you know I relate to that one. Long live free-range chickens until they leave their eggs all over your lawn. Lastly... did you give the pillagers... a taste of their own medicine??

The auto-brewer (Although there are bound to be more effective ones) was built in late 2017 and the auto-brewer added around this time 2018.. It drops the items via dispensers into the glass shoot and another button dispenses water to push it along into the hopper above a brewing stand. I have dispensers for sugar, spider eyes, fermented spider eyes, magma slime balls, redstone, gunpowder etc.
close up in it's old locaton:
Oh believe me the pillagers got what was coming to them. Never got a bad omen this time though, didn't think shooting him with a bow mattered over using a sword but apparently it does.
Also for Reddit I made a rare short video doing a fly-around, it's unlisted, but it gives people an idea where everything is in relation to one another:

Two Major Changes // Preparing for World D/L release (June)
With the recent Wool Emporium opening up just down the stairs from storage, I went and collected all the wool blocks, carpets and dyes from the walk in closet in the bedroom, I decided to just have chests for dyed leather gear reducing the amount of chests in their from 8 doubles to just four leaving the rest of the room feeling rather empty.
This begged the question - do I actually still need this part of the building any more with such wasted space?
This was never there in the beginning and has seen a few changes.
In Alpha there was nothing but part of a mountain to the left of the outside of the bedroom:
It wasn't until the end of 2010/early Jan 2011 sometime that a dirt extension was made seen here in July 2011:
As you can see Stairs now go into the mountain by the side of it and it's stating to look a bit more familiar. It had been everything from a small bathroom in Beta to a spare bedroom before coming a walk in closet. This didn't happen until September 2015 however when the bedroom got a Feng Shui makeover and the extension was turned permanent with white hardened clay now known as terracotta; and given big panel glass windows to allow extra light in.
Today:
Intitally I was waorried about taking it down, as I dug u=into the mountain or extended it in the first place I wondered what kind of space would be left if I did take it down... Naturally I came up with something test building it in my creative copy first, which meant moving some pillars and stairs - and paths.
Inside I opted for a simple wardrobe:
I still think it flows nicely and the stairways are more organized, especially near the bottom where I had two sets separated by just two grass blocks, so merged them into one set.
The other big change comes from watching a video that made me question - Could I turn my chests in storage sideways? So instead of one double front facing chest, I would have two doubles sideways for more space. Certain chests were over flowing from the organized columns inside them and need more room.
The issue was, I have the middle galley, on the right side it forms the left part of the corridor towards the extension, the left side, it forms the right side of the storage galley by the other main drop down galley (Lava, incinerator, whiteboard and entrance to the science lab):
This middle isle would have to be extended out, which means the left galley (1) the corridor would have to be also moved over to keep how it looks by 1 - 2 blocks. and a few adjustments to the other galley here:
After extensive testing in my creative copy, even considering moving the whole storage to just off storage IE down a few steps from the wool emporium down the steps leading to a mineshaft I came to realize it would work. Moving it entirely was not an option - I mean; what would I have done in the space of old storage? The creative copy of recreating storage was fun though and I wasted to much time on it. There was a fake "dead end" lobby where you'd normally come down to storage, and the actual entrance from the stairs would be where the "Fake science lab" doors were! Al recreated with accuracy!
The one casualty however because of where certain walls are that needed to be taken back was the access tunnel for donkeys, the "Donkey loading bay" a small tunnel from outside the kennel entrance leading right to the storage lobby:
Plans were afoot however. I had to see whilst on my creative copy if there was anywhere else I could build an access tunnel connecting to storage?
Originally I built an extension to storage that was underwater following 1.13 and both floors were underwater. This year it was scrapped however as I didn't need all those extra chests when I decided this world was not going to update past it's current 1.14.2. The lower floor was drained of water, that led to the library, but both water bubble elevators were kept, albeit the one going back up was moved further along.
Before:
To water elevator back up on the left and door hole to the library on the right:
Reverse angle showing the doors into the library:
If I dug a tunnel from the right of the door way to the bubble elevator back up I would come out just outside the perimeter by the everyday stable:
Which would be highly appropriate, but I would need some sort of entrance there.
Works:
The first blow is struck!:
Decoration begins and the ceiling capped! We also now have steps going into storage directly, and so both water bubble elevators were no longer a requirement.
With the over-world surface not being far above the tunnel the initial choice of glowstone was replaced with redstone lamps with sensors (Green glass blocks above them to blend into the grass) so at night with shaders on the tunnel really comes alive!
As for outside?:
I'm really pleased how it came out, the new tunnel looks rustic, it's wider than the one before and better decorated (Limited in the one before because of it's surroundings) and the entrance makes much more sense being by the everyday stables. I also love that I have a few little steps directly into storage.
As for storage itself:
The corridor by the lava incinerator is actually a bit less wider now between the stone-brick border to accommodate. I also had to create an arch for the entrance to the wool emporium/concrete mixing room/Enchantment & map room and change the orientation of the acacia stairs down to the Wool Emporium which now has a turn in the stairs.
On the minor side I also tried to move the arrow storage via a bit of a corridor into what was the underneath of the old map room - it turned out to be a disaster. I winged it, no planning and the room was too oddly shaped so I had to scrap that idea. I had even changed the position of stairs into storage to accommodate and had to use screen shots to put it back exactly how it was. This was before I made all these major changes to storage above.
I'm glad to be getting these jobs done now before I release the next world download release in June. I've still got a showroom apartment to do at the Chunk Plaza hotel, and have fixed a few things I had spotted in the fly around video I did.

Last night I was talking on discord about my world and mentioned that a limited selection of blocks are a resource pack of my own, mainly the blue "red sandstone blocks", as if they've been in a kiln. Specifically the only area left using them:
It got me thinking, can I make over this area as well and make it better, more open and accessible? Especially getting rid of those huge band of stairs down! Using my creative copy I have designed something really nice, but first...
A little history on this bit
Back in Alpha, before the pool, there was a 16 block high mountain (Which came down in Beta) and entrance to the back of the dinning room was very basic and restrictive:
It was with the first renovation of the dinning room (Including making the ceiling 1 - 2 blocks higher) that the back area had to change, with the mountain having already been scooped out for the pool.
Thus the first iteration was born.
Two years later in 2014 came the first use of "blue" red sandstone blocks:
Another two years on in 2016 and it was pretty much the same with some changes at the top of the wall for iron fences and finally the old cobble fort wall came down:
The corner bricks on top also used the blue "red sandstone" blocks and their walls replacing the railings, and so for the past four years it has remained so ever since! I have plans to open her up though!
As I mentioned I don't like that big bank of stairs coming down. Over time I've eliminated these as much as possible at least make then have a turn in them or grading them downward.
The first strike has commenced!:
This will change a long term part of history, hopefully for the better in the end. So far:
There will be a wool canopy over the arch, and as for the drop where the retaining wall was, I have landscaped it down using the natural blocks of nature. I've used stripped oak blocks as I wanted it to be a continuation of the path but a gradual one. I may have to add oak or birch slaps to make the transition better.
The retaining wall you can just see, still in the blue "red sandstone blocks" won't be staying that way but they do hide the gradual ascending stairs which take a turn to the right as they near the top.

Small improvements/Netherizing the portal cave..
In the last post I mentioned redoing the little patio outside the dinning room and trying to make it more open and accessible. I had made a good start but here is how it looked before to how it now currently looks:
previously:
currently:
I've also in general been going round and just seeing if there's any little things I've overlooked (In prep for the next world d/l release), little things like adding a little detail to the side of this:
I'm starting to think about the flow of the builds now and how they connect with each other and have brightened up the main boardwalk also with some seating and planting just like the boardwalk at the Chunk Plaza development:
Weeks ago, maybe even a month; I went to the nether and did some clearing to get some netherrack for the cave around the portal. With many stacks I stuck in in the chest near the portal for something to come back to and eventually do the rest of the roof and nether-ize the cave.
As we left it:
I wanted Stalagmite drops from the ceiling, however when I came back to do it; it just felt like the ceiling was too long and concealing the ender dragon portal too much. I decided to take down the roof bit I had done (Creating flat circles and wherever a random extra block appeared it appeared for stalagmites) and took the ceiling right up using scaffolding to the actual cave height ceiling:
Finally I can say the cave has been netherized! (Next task the rib cage to my skeleton farm!) I want to add more red blocks like netherwart blocks and maybe red terracotta to mix it in a bit, so it's not just netherrack. The same idea going to the rib cage tunnel of Mount DOOOooom. The above job actually didn't take long, 45 minuted? Instead of doing flat circles and building of them I just over-layered the natural formation of the cave. More details and stalagmites need to be done but the base level is done.
One change I made was after the double doors from the grinder you have to go around the lava pools, round a corner, along a small corner, then take a sharp left to the portal. I wanted a more direct route, so after checking co-ordinates, I now have a straight-through tunnel in progress:
I'm not sure how I want this to look however.
With other details, at the end of the main-board walk with the new planting and seating I will have another custom rock on the bare corner as well. I have also adjusted the collection for my kelp farm, instead of just going into a single chest it now goes into a double that feeds directly into a smoker, instantly smelts it before automatically exporting to another double chest. With the amount of kelp I get, I've managed to keep making enough kelp blocks to fuel itself and I can go off and leave it.
Texture pack: This year, cobble stone was reverted to default, so were stone bricks expect chiseled which still has a creeper face - except on the default chiseled block now. The latest being taking into consideration as this has slowly over time moved back to more default blocks in the andesite blocks currently made to look like basalt blocks.
This is not because of the new basalt however, I still have no plans to move my world past 1.14.2, but again I'm considering making andesite default again in my increasingly shrinking custom pack. The two considerations using it are the minecart tunnel to the Trading house, and the half of the floor of the underwater minecart tunnel. The later can be easy enough and am currently re-designing on my creative copy; however - it's the floor of the underwater minecart tunnel that needs serious consideration on how I can make it look.
This is a major factor to re-consider, but it is highly likely that andesite will also return to the default look blocks. (At least I will get another gray block back). Obviously you want a world to look how everyone will see it not just you, and if that means making more default textures and making the already small resource pack even smaller, then so be it.
Terracotta I've considered but many didn't like the weird colors (White being pinkish) when it first came out so I don't think I could change it fro my more realistic colours. My blue red sandstone blocks (As if they've been in a kilm) could revert as I rarely use them now since the church roof changed which was largely made up of them. Small things like one big square on dark oak trapdoors and very less speckled diorite will stay.
I am still not sure when in June the next world download release will be, but it will definitely come in June.

Due to unforseen circumstances, the next world download due this month - has had to been pushed back 6 months until the anniversary date (Or just past). There is unlikley to be any further updates either until then.

Yikes man, that's rough. I can't even imagine if I lost six months of progress - I got a BSOD the other day that scared the **** out of me, so yeah - I'm trying to get into the habit of using an external drive. But damn, that's a powerful loss. Sorry to hear mate - hope you don't lose motivation throughout this setback, even though I know it's going to be a tough pill to swallow.

Slowly plodding along, doing a bit each day, then backing up. Everytime I walk around though, I spot something else to do and the list keeps getting longer and longer. I've been working on the small asethetical things to get a feel of how it was - The new seating and plating along the main boardwalk, changing the fencing on the water bandstand and such.
A number of things are coming along I've moved the map room again, Made a good start on the Wool Emporuim again albeit eith a few changes. this time. I want to keep working on the small stuff like remaking the chicken shed, moving them and renovating the old chicken area again and very soon do my rainbow beacon again.
As it now currently stands:
New donkey tunnel (remove old)DONE
re-chest storage again (Front facing to 2x sideways in each slot) Move map room!DONE
renovate room for donkey minecart
extend bow storage
Wool emporium 3/4 DONE viewing platform (For overloook screenshot)DONE
Well
Access from 0 tick farm to villager hall
chicken shed! (Renovage of old chicken area)
bedroom extention & landscape 3/4 DONE
dinning patio area
sheep farm again?
Re-netherize portal
Small improvements IN PROGRESS
re-do underwater minecart floor again
Chunk Plaza Hotel
I also finally got round to getting shaders again after some initial problems (Forgot I needed jarfix) and upgraded my Chocopic V6 shaders to V8 and continue to be breathtaken by them. I changed the eyes of the 3D model of my skin's head from glowstone to redstone lamps with a bit of redstone and now the eyes slowly fade on and off at sunrise/sunset!
Hopefully this will have rendered by the next time you log on:

I really like that design - never seen anything like it before so it's a bit unique. Regarding shaders, I've never dabbled with them - but I think I would be interested in using them. I'm fairly confident that my laptop could handle it and it would make the world look a lot better.

Thank-you. I'mm ploughing through a lot of the smaller jobs, I've remade the rainbow beacon (This time it does go to build height), I've re-designed the well again as it was with a few little aesthetic extras and did the chicken shed again yesterday, moved them and redeveloped the area as I had before.
Current list:
New donkey tunnel (remove old)DONE
re-chest storage again Move map room!DONE renovate room for donkey minecartDONE extend bow storageDONE
Wool emporium 3/4 DONE viewing platform (For overloook screenshot)DONE WellDONE Access from 0 tick farm to villager hallDONE chicken shed! (Renovage of old chicken area)DONE bedroom extention & landscapeDONE
dinning patio area
Realign Chunk Plaza station bridge width again to allow lighting
sheep farm again
Monorail
Re-netherize portal
Small improvements IN PROGRESS
re-do underwater minecart floor again
Chunk Plaza Hotel
I'm hoping it won't take the full six months, but there is the inside of the chunk plaza hotel (Interior wall separations, basic birch floor, temporary ceiling) etc. This Time I'm just gonna make as much gray concete and as much lime green concrete as I can , haul it over nad just go for it.

Two week mini-update. Note: My PC crashed 2 weeks ago so I'm having to re-do 6 months worth of work.
New donkey tunnel (remove old) DONE re-chest storage againDONE Move map room!DONE renovate room for donkey minecartDONE extend bow storageDONE Wool emporium3/4 DONE viewing platform (For overloook screenshot) DONE WellDONE Access from 0 tick farm to villager hallDONE chicken shed! Re-netherize portal IN PROGRESS
Small improvements IN PROGRESS
re-do underwater minecart floor again
Chunk Plaza Hotel STARTED
Additional:
Re-do decor for through-mountain tunnel to donkey horse farm
Shorten science room againDONE
As you can see a lot of the smaller jobs are now one, but of course I'm still finding things I've forgotten like the mountain tunnel to the horse/donkey barn and pretty up again. Also the science lab shortening, but that was a quick job. The biggest jobs are obviosly the hotel and making the underwater mincart tunnel nicer again. Currently I am re-doing the roof on the horse/donkey barn and will need to do the same on the sheep farm.
Also the rainbow beacon is back, and this time, it does go to build height!
I also took this oppotunity to revert another set of blocks back to default, my "blue" red sandstone blocks (As if they've been in the kilm). This is so that not only am I improving the build again as I did before, but this time I can use the now default looking red sandstone blocks as alternate texrture on the build, mixing blocks and improving it even more so.
With the hotel at the Chunk Plaza, I have once again installed the corridor walls inside separating the hotel into two sides and am currently doing the two thick walls on the other side that close of the partments from the residential staircase. Once again, I still have all the temporary ceilings and basic birch floors to do in every apartment and making sure that each level is exactly the same height again.
One Sunday, I will definetly have a mega hotel day where I get a lot of work done.

Not exactly an update on what i've been doing latety, but more a quick FAQ on th world in general.
Why was the next world download delayed?
About a month ago I had a major PC crash and lost pretty much everything. Although I was regularly backing up - it was onto a different drive, just not an external source/One Drive. Suffice to say the last 6 months work I had done on this world was lost and had to be re-done. It was a painful learning lesson, but at least I am backing up eternally now as well.
When is the next world download coming?
The next one was due June 2020, with the crash this was delayed and I have said to myself end of July/End of August at most. The biggest hold up is obviously the hotel at the Chunk Plaza development. All other jobs are now done aside for some finishing of on the sheep/horse/donkey barn roofs, relaying the new floor and tunnel improvements for the underwater minecart tunnel and experimenting with custom skinny trees again (Fences and leave blocks).
One way or another by the end of August a new world download will be released.
WIll you ever update past 1.14.2 and if not, why?
The only reason why i don't is because it doesn't hold much for me - at the moment. Don't get me wrong i love the new nether improvements, but with this world I feel it's not worth it and worth exploring in a newer world. I have no interest in bees or honey blocks and I would only feel like moving on IF we had certain things like slabs and stairs for conrete and basic terracotta blocks - which I still can't believe are not in the game.
However, I did do a test with a world copy for 1.16 where I reset the Nether so it's possible although to get to the newer chunks would require building across the nether sky again. If I was going to upgrade, I feel like I would want to completetly reset the nether just for the challenge. (I actually would spawn in one of those basalt deltas or whatever they're called.)
What do you want/hope to achieve in this world/see it heading?
From 2015 my build style had evolved so much I spent the next five years renovating and improving the general look of things - call it a revitalization era. From 2020 my newer renovations/improvements have really stared to evolve with much better roofs and mixing materials into existing areas or re-vitalized areas. So thye mixing is where the building is going, however the world itself...
I am getting very much into world building, telling a little story. This world has so much history I'm interested in why one certain area connects to another next to; or nearby it. Recently I took down a half-mountain by the church by the fencing as it's bothered me for 5 years, but in doing so; I kept a little slope with a new natural pathway and planted some giant spruce trees. I created a little back exit to the cemetary thatleads on to MOunt DOOOooom.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
At the same time I want to continue to have new builds, expand but I don't want to industrialize the world with giant motorways/roads and skyscrapers etc. Then it just becomes yet another "Minecraft city" and I don't want that. The it would become less unique. I want to keep it rural, but continue to expand somehow and this is somehthing I want to keep thinking about going forward.
If you have read up until this point, thank-you, and thank-you for those that do want another world download for being patient. Any further questions - just ask away! I shall do my best to answer.

Here’s a question: how do you deal with wanting to delete and start over again? I always start a new world and get quite far but then become unhappy with my original base build and wanting to restart. I’m probably the furthest into any world so far - about 50 hours- and feeling like I want to already. It doesn’t make sense since I could just start a new base 1000 blocks away with all my Upgraded items but as a perfectionist I still want to do it.
Hi Joey,
Thanks for asking!
I have some serious work ahead of me now!

Resource Pack: Mostly default
Shaders: Chocapic13 V6 High
Armor:
Weapons/Tools:
Data packs:: 4 bark blocks, 12 trapdoors, anti-Enderman griefing, coal to ink, moar stairs and rotten flesh to leather, co-ordinates/nether co-ordinates hub

Must plough on.

LP series? Not my style! Video series? Closer, but not quite. Survival journal, maybe? That's better. Now in Season 4 of the Legends of Quintropolis Journal (<< click to view)!! World download and more can be found there.

Works:

Resource Pack: Mostly default

Weapons/Tools:
Data packs:: 4 bark blocks, 12 trapdoors, anti-Enderman griefing, coal to ink, moar stairs and rotten flesh to leather, co-ordinates/nether co-ordinates hub
Small improvements/Netherizing the portal cave..
In the last post I mentioned redoing the little patio outside the dinning room and trying to make it more open and accessible. I had made a good start but here is how it looked before to how it now currently looks:
I also changed the fencing on the water pavilion, for some reason I thought jungle fencing among the dark oak was fitting but have since changed all fencing to dark oak, fixed a hole in the roof and changed the trapdoors around the redstone lamp from oak to spruce.

Everything OK, leangreen? What has happened?
LP series? Not my style! Video series? Closer, but not quite. Survival journal, maybe? That's better. Now in Season 4 of the Legends of Quintropolis Journal (<< click to view)!! World download and more can be found there.

Thank-you
Slowly plodding along, doing a bit each day, then backing up.
New donkey tunnel (remove old)DONEre-chest storage again (Front facing to 2x sideways in each slot)
Move map room!DONErenovate room for donkey minecart
extend bow storage
Wool emporium 3/4 DONE
viewing platform (For overloook screenshot)DONEWell

New donkey tunnel (remove old)DONEre-chest storage again
Move map room!DONErenovate room for donkey minecartDONEextend bow storageDONEWool emporium 3/4 DONE
viewing platform (For overloook screenshot)DONEWellDONEAccess from 0 tick farm to villager hallDONEchicken shed! (Renovage of old chicken area)DONEbedroom extention & landscapeDONEdinning patio area

New donkey tunnel(remove old) DONEre-chest storage againDONEMove map room!DONErenovate room for donkey minecartDONEextend bow storageDONEWool emporium3/4 DONEviewing platform(For overloook screenshot) DONEWellDONEAccess from 0 tick farm to villager hallDONEchicken shed! (Renovage of old chicken area)DONEbedroom extention & landscapeDONEdinning patio area MOSTLY DONE
Realign Chunk Plaza station bridge again to allow lightingDONEsheep farm again/Roofs for Donkeys & Horses and sheep barn STARTED
Monorail MOSTLY DONE
Re-netherize portal IN PROGRESS
Small improvements IN PROGRESS
re-do underwater minecart floor again
Chunk Plaza Hotel STARTED
Additional:
Re-do decor for through-mountain tunnel to donkey horse farm
Shorten science room againDONEAs you can see a lot of the smaller jobs are now one, but of course I'm still finding things I've forgotten like the mountain tunnel to the horse/donkey barn and pretty up again.
