A close call is when you almost die but you survive with only one or two hearts.
My story is quite long and at some points difficult to understand. Only read it if you have time.
My worst close call was on my 5th night. I had already moved to a colossal snow-capped mountain, and I had built a watch tower that extended to the clouds. It was sunrise, hostiles were still hanging around. This is when it starts. A retarded pig spawned next to me and pushed me off the balcony. I took 1 heart fall damage and a flaming zombie awaited me, destroying the remains of my leather armor and causing a further 2 heart damage before it cooked
into ashes. I was at the edge of a stone cliff, where a terrorising 40-block drop threatened me. Before I could move back to safety, a creeper nuked the peice of land I was on and I plummeted. Luckily, I landed in water, but the fall still caused 4 hearts damage. (Or was it the creeper?) Anyway, that made me struggling on only 3 hearts. I was right next to the dark, overlooking cliff, where monsters spawn even in daylight. Before I knew it, I had been sniped by a skeleton, and having only half a heart of life. Well, I thought I was a goner. But I wasn't. This is when the luck comes in-The retarded pig fell on top of me, slamming 2 porkchops in my face. I instantly ate them, the reclimbed the mountain. That, fellow Minecrafters, is my close call. Yours, please?

about 2 days ago while retuning home from a trip down a nearby cave I was too impatient to wait for daylight. After about halfway I made several stupid mistakes like falling off high ridges and failing to avoid skeletons and ended up with only one heart left. THen ran for about 2 minutes trying to get back home in the dark.
i was getting wood from a tree and 5 creepers started to come my way...
1 exploded close to me and i got only 3 hearts left... then i ran to my building (i was a noob) and it exploded my front door area )= 3 more left and then one exploded and killed the other 2....
One time, I was building the water-boat-elevator for the first time, and I mistakenly made a staircase up to the top in the deep hole, and I kept the staircase there when I put the water sources. Of course, the elevator didn't work because of the impromptu staircase, so I thought, "Easy".
WRONG.
Because I was an idiot at the time, I didn't stop the water from flowing, and I tried to destroy the staircase while floating in water that had a current going straight down. I was starting to run out of air and getting hurt, so I thought I'd be OK if I just exited the pouring water and fell to the one-block deep water. I died. Haha, not making that mistake again.
I was working with lava when, suddenly, I caught on fire. Being underground there was no immediate source of water, so I had to make a run for it. I wasn't horribly deep and there was a lake outside of my house. So I took my flaming self and scurried up the ladder into my foyer. I remembered I had no health items so I bolted out the door and towards the lake. I was about 5 blocks away from the lake when the fire finally went out, leaving me with one heart. So I just stood there. Wondering how my iron armor caught on fire. Then I killed some pigs to get food and went back to work, later dying and losing a bunch of materials. Don't play with lava kids.
2 days ago, I was in nether trying to get some soul sand to build my one way door and for storage. I had already mined all of the soul sand near my portal. Then I spotted an area littered with it, but it was across the lava. So I began building my cobblestone bridge (for future uses possibly) to that little island. On the way there, I was attacked by a group of ghasts. Thankfully, I was close enough to the island that you could reach it by jumping. I took a deep breath. I attempted a leap of faith towards that island. The fall damage destroy my leather armor and knocked my down to 1 1/2 hearts. The funny part is though when I landed my finger accidentally click the mouse. I punched a zombie pigman who would later pwn me. After a short chase, I found myself trapped between lava and the group of pigman. Instead of fighting them, I just jumped in to the lava knowing that my soul would either way stay in nether. Burning
Was exploring my world, mining everything in reach and creating a base around 6 blocks high, putting blocks under me and using shift to expand the floating base. Once I finished smelting the iron and generally getting things organized for the morning, I got bored and started playing around with the monsters around me. I'd push them away with water just for the lulz.
Then, I saw I had some gravel on me and I thought, "Hey, what about I kill those mobs with falling gravel, great idea!", I go near the edge of my floating plataform, press shift, place gravel, and then I'm falling.
I take one heart fall damage + a ton of damage from the creeper I was trying to kill with gravel exploding. I now have 1 1/2 hearts and I try to climb the water to my floating base, but mobs are everywhere, so I ran away. I could only get back to my floating base after "midday", with the same 1 1/2 hearts left.
cowardice keeps me alive. (meh i am a coward anyway)

If we abolished all forms of government the world would NOT be thrown into chaos because people who want to do something will do it even if the laws say not to.Laws don't stop us, merely distract us.
LOL. At this time, 5 people were cowards that play on Peaceful.

I made a tower that was really tall, on the top of a mountain. I fell off, and I thought I was dead. I was surprised to see that I had half a heart left.
