i have seen some serious s*** about beta. okay first off, notch did not say "UMMM DUH I GONA ADD A BUNCH O STUFF TO MINECRAFT 4 BETA DUUUH" he said "once i get multiplayer to mostly work without bugs, minecraft will be considered beta." now i think that having throw-able eggs and finally knowing for sure what everything is called is pretty awesome. and now i can play multiplayer without everything lagging to hell and not looking a f*** like minecraft. and finally leaf decay, i don't have all those stupid leaves hovering around everything. so stop acting like u got let down because NOTCH NEVER PROMISED ANYTHING EXCEPT WORKING MULITPLAYER. and if i get one more retard posting crap about the secret, i will personally f*** your a** off. all i really wanted that i didn't get was fixing that stupid torch glitch, and lanterns. and its going to lag more because he introduced more to minecraft, so it will take up more space morons
and on a final note
GRAB DA DIAMONZ
Ok one, rephrase that in real English.
Two, I got the diamonds.

It's hard waiting around for something that you know might never happen; but it's even harder to give up when you know it's everything you ever wanted.

Who cares what Notch says? We care what Notch does. As in, adding useful content, not random gimicks or "bug fixes" that end up causing just as many bugs as they fix...
Notch could say "I am never going to add anything new, and will charge you all $1 every week." Does that mean we would have to be happy about it just because Notch said so? No... obviously not. What he says is more or less irrelevant.
Wow, way to ramble. Anyways, what Notch says ultimately affects what Notch does. If Notch says "I'm going to add sharks into water that is ten blocks deep or deeper", then that triggers a thought and development cycle in his mind. If the idea stands against his critique, then he may consider adding it. Quit trolling, because some of us actually care about more than the outcome of the game. Some of us care about what's going through the genius mind of Notch.
Wow, I just rambled, didn't I? Sorry about that. Feel free to flame me.
Sigh... yes you're right. There are reasons entirely unrelated to this thread for why you might care what Notch says.
I was obviously talking in terms of [a lack of] content versus price of the game. What Notch says is irrelevant for deciding whether the price is justified or not.

Przerwap, upon looking at some code I had just written: "...Gav... That's not how programming works."
I like how most of the replies completely ignored what the original poster was trying to say because of something so trivial as how he chose to type it.
Seriously, guys. Get over yourselves.
Also, I would like to agree (for the most part) with the original poster. We ought to be grateful for what we do indeed have as of now. Can we not say that Minecraft is a great game? Can we not say that Notch and his team are working on solving existing problems? Then why are some of us complaining?
Proper grammar is capitalising your posts, adding punctuation and generally taking the time to write something legible. It's something you should get into the habit of using on forums, so as not to make yourself look like an idiot or a troll.
