I thing that if you do /give hand <username>, it should give whatever is in your hand to the specified username. Support my idea? Leave your feedback in the replies.

How is this going to differentiate from the original /give syntax?
Original:
/give <player> <id> [Count] [Damage] {tag}
Suggestion:
/give hand <player>
What if a player has the name "hand"? They wouldn't be able to use the normal /give command. The "<player>" from the suggestion and "<id>" from the original would intersect, with no way to know whether or not it's an item ID (for example, a mod is installed with an item that has an ID of "Skylinerw") or player name. This conflict will have to be resolved.

otherwise the unfortunate player named hand will be left out.

This is a supportable idea!
I have a new account called "Mushroomsock" now, so please do not send me PMs.
But then you'd be giving the player the item "hand" should it exist.
