It's my own ideas on it, and expanding the idea.
Anyways, here's the idea for armour.
There would be 5 slots - Head, Body, Legs, Off-hand (torches, shields) and feet.
Tier 1 Light: Wool
Tier 2 Light: Wood
Tier 3 Light: Leather
Tier 4 Light: Studded Leather (made by 4 leather in a diamond shape, with one iron ingot in the middle. provides 4 pieces)
Tier 5 Light: Forest-Wanderer Wooden Armour (made of 2 trunk, 1 leather, and 1 iron, in a square formation. Only makes 1 piece of Forest-Wanderer Wood) Special Abilities (credit to Noppa): Water Absorption (when in Tree Shape and within 5 tiles of water you heal slowly and your armor is repaired even more slowly), Tree Shape (turn into tree when in sunlight and on dirt/grass, weaker to axes and fire, other weapons do less damage)
Tier 1 Heavy: Stone
Tier 2 Heavy: Iron
Tier 3 Heavy: Heavy Iron (Made from Iron Blocks, not ingots)
Tier 4 Heavy: Diamond
Tier 5 Heavy: Obsidian
Special ability: You are able to resist things none else can. You are immune to lava, fire, and explosives. You also are 1.5 blocks wide, and two full blocks tall. Nothing is allowed to go past you, and nothing can move you. You never suffer knockback. However, you also are pretty slow, so you are an easy target.
Then, there would need to be weaponry (with ideas of how they will be crafted):
Tiers: T1: Wood T2: Stone T3: Iron T4: Diamond T5: Obsidian

1-Handed Weapons (can use a shield, made by attaching a shield (materials for armour in a diamond shape) to a new slot that would needed to be added)

Spears (Light)
Pole-Axes (Heavy)

Long-Bows (Light) (Already know how to craft, ammo goes as follows: T1: Flint(16 arrows) T2:Stone T3:Iron T4:Diamond T5:Obsidian)
Cross-Bows (Heavy)

Anyways, I have thought of these weapons because each serves a special purpose, the four types not overriding eachother's roles. The 1-hand and shield weapons are an obvious defensive choice, longer-range spears are great for defending fellow archers, archer weapons are obvious, and sweep weapons let you kill many things at once. The weapons you posted, no offense, were just a bunch of weapons with overlapping roles, overly complexing the way combat would work. Combat shouldn't be rock paper scissors, but it shouldn't be random bull either. It should have obvious roles. Also, fixing up light armour stuff.

Is that a joke? Why do people insist on making damn-near invincible armor all the time!?
And cyrix, obsidian armour would take a long time to get, so it wouldn't be easy to get in the slightest. And if you read the other thread, it slows you down to a crawl, at best. Also, I never said that you are immune with it on, you only take no damage from lava, fire, and explosions. Last time I checked, those weren't the primary ways of killing someone. They can easily take damage from a fast opponent. Just think movable wall. Bow weapons will devastate people in it.
