I'm not a lefty, but i think that there should be a lefty mode in Minecraft where it flips you hand and tools to the left side, and placing blocks is left click, and breaking them is right click. There should also be a "hand only" mode where the it only just flips the hand and tools. This is good for lefties who have adapted to the right hand controls and still want their things to their left hand.
Hmm :D... I'm left handed, but I use the mouse, scissors, and other implements right-handed simply for the sake of comfort.
In terms of mouse swapping, that's not necessary, windows mouse already has that function built into it. I'm pretty sure every major OS has similar functionality.
In terms of graphically setting Steve to left-handed in your account settings? sure!
Does we need a special mode? .I mean, you can just switch them around. That's what I did and got my perfect control combination for lefties./
