When you use google drive you probably think of sharing word documents and excel spreadsheets. What if we could share minecraft saves and play them directly on google like you would edit a word document. This would allow you to edit your worlds from multiple locations, play on long distance "lan worlds" and make minecraft generally more accessible. If there were an option to use a single shared minecraft.jar there would be no more .jar conflicts and allow you more modding/server options.
Well, considering Google drive is free and you can use a false account to use it so you're not giving away your information, I don't think the requirement is an issue.
I'm all for it, but OP, you should probably be a little more clear on exactly what 'it' is. I perceive it as being able to share a map via Google drive the same way you can share a word document, with a cloud, allowing you to share a world without having to host a more intensive and potentially costly multiplayer game.

This is vanilla minecraft accessed by google drive to allow editing from multiple locations at the same time (like google drives other editors). Those are world editors.

That would actually involve Mojang having to sign a contract with Google, depending on how that would be implemented.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.
Yes I understand that. That is why this is in vanilla suggestions.
I don't think you knew what I was driving at. That kind of thing would involve Mojang sharing a contract with Google, meaning that Google can get a share of Mojang's profit for making the effort of having a Google application work seamlessly with Minecraft. This is why Minecraft doesn't exist for many gaming platforms.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe that the only contract they would have to sign is one to put it on the store. Mojang could even just post it on their site and not have to put it on the store.
I highly doubt Google will agree to this but I guess it's worth a shot to try to get it in the drive app store thing. HOWEVER, mojang has mentioned sometime in the future releasing a cloud like save system for settings and stats. What I really want to see saved in the mojang servers are statistics, and server address lists.

Pun intended? Lol
I don't think that google would agree to this either but mojang would not have to put it on the store.
Thoughts, Ideas?
Thanks.

You use a google drive app to access your world saves allowing miltiplayer and editing from different locations.
Thanks for the better explanation.
Uhh yeah, there are already many programs out there that do the same thing.
I have yet to see these. Could you provide links?
Programs that let you view and edit worlds? Sure!
MCEdit
WorldEdit
WorldPainter (on a much larger scale)
